Hello Market Friends,

As we wrap up another wonderful outdoor farmers market season, we want to take a moment to extend our heartfelt thanks to each and every one of you. Your continued support has made this season truly special, and we couldn’t have done it without you! From fresh produce to artisan goods, your presence each week helped create a thriving market that supported our local farmers and makers. We are truly grateful for the sense of community you brought to every market day.

But don’t worry, the season isn’t over just yet! We're excited to announce the start of our Winter Farmers Market, which will be held weekly indoors at 128 Center Street(next to Wallingford Lamp)starting December 14th. Join us every Saturday from 10am-1pm to find all your favorite local products in a cozy, warm setting. We can’t wait to continue serving you through the colder months! Mark your calendars!!!

Murphy wanted to remind everyone it is National Cat Day & as the seasons change, please consider making a cold weather shelter for strays in your area to survive inclement weather.

Whole oats are the building blocks of our mushrooms. Mycelium digests starches and sugars in each grain, providing energy and moisture needed for the burgeoning organism to flourish!

We provide grainspawn and fruiting blocks to local farms and hobbiests. Please reach out if you are interested in learning how we can help start your own mushroom farm.

Oyster mushrooms(Pleurotus ostreatus) can be found all over Connecticut this time of the year. I was lucky enough to get a sample of this one from and between 3 farmers markets this weekend, I was able to tissue biopsy, and less than 48 hours later, I am already seeing growth!
