Macchiato’s pups are now 3 weeks old. They are crawling around and acting interested in her food. At this point they are still mostly eating, sleeping, and pooping still. We are now taking deposits in these pups. PM if interested.

The runt (Sloth) is a bit behind. His eyes are just starting to open. And he is still very tiny. But he’s hanging in there and spending more time with the litter and less time in the incubator. He’s also got a BIG appetite for such a small guy.

Here are the 2 week pics. As of right now I’m pretty sure that 2 will be long coats (probably more medium because both parents are short but carry long) and the rest should be short coat. We have had several inquiries on pups already so as of right now, we will contact those people over the next couple days and the start taking deposits early next week.

The Goonies litter is 2 weeks old. That’s 2 weeks of getting up every 2-3 hours to feed the runt and make sure he is getting all the care he needs. I’ve been utterly exhausted and have not kept up with pictures.

Machiato has been a champ and is taking great care of the others. She is eating a ton just to feed her babies.

A couple of the pups look like they might be long coat. I will get pictures posted but we will not be taking deposits for a little bit longer. I want to see what they get for coat types.

Linguine’s pups are scheduled to have vet exams on 8/9. They can leave the following week once the vet says they are healthy and all set to leave.

While this week feels like it has been one of the longest weeks ever, we made it to 1 week. Machiato figured out what she’s supposed to be doing, the pups are growing like weeds, and the runt is still fighting against all odds. I will keep fighting with him and we will figure out his challenges along the way. I will start posting pics soon.

3 days old. Mom is doing much better with all the pups except the runt. I’ve got him in the incubator when il not supervising and have him on her every 2 hours for at least 45 min of nursing. Hes very small but seems to be holding steady. Still keeping 6 pups or less on her at one time just to make sure she’s not getting too stressed and the tiny boy always has at least 1 pup with him.

Day 1, another random pic. We are rotating in groups of 4 so mom isn’t super overwhelmed and I sorted by color (sort of) so it was easier to remember when moving them around.

Due to unforeseen circumstances, these service dogs are looking for a new handler. They can go together or separate. They are not with me but can be brought to Maine. The only cost, is the cost of transport which would be about $400 on the east coast through the transporter I use.

Please share, we would love to get these ladies into the hands of a veteran, child or anyone that needs them.

Machiato had a c-section earlier this morning and is now home with her babies. Mom is very stressed and confused so we are taking things slow with her.

A couple puppies are struggling to nurse, but we are doing everything we can to keep them healthy and give them the best chance possible.

Updates will be posted soon and pictures as well.

Silo likes to sit in water on a hot day. That is sometimes a puddle, a pool, or even the water through. I love this boy.
