The champagne clutch is adjusting well to frozen thawed mice.
They will be ready for their new homes the week of September 20th.
Gender will be announced sometime before that week.

The champagne kids turn 3 weeks old on Thursday.
I decided to try them 2 days early....

And every single one took down their first mouse with NO ISSUES AT ALL, within 10 minutes.

I'm so proud of them!

We will feed them live mice at least 3 more times (once per week), then switch them to frozen thawed.
3 F/T feedings, and they will be ready for their new homes.

The last of the newest babies finally decided to emerge today🙄....the siblings were out almost 2 days ago.
The banana leo (the 1 with its head up in the corner) is the late entry😂

It looks exactly like the father.

Morphs appear to be 2 banana HGW (HGW is an acronym for hidden gene woma), 1 leopard, 1 HGW, 1 banana leopard, and 2 really cool looking HGW leopards.

100% hatch rate this year. 14 perfect snakelets, no defects. And this year, none were normals. Didn't hit any 3 gene snakes, but 0 norms is still good luck.

The champagne babies have shed and been separated (some pottied😅).
We have 3 champ enchi, 2 enchi, a champ, and a neat little mystic that looks like a funkier version of the father (the black one).

3 down and 4 to go!!
So far we have a banana HGW, a leopard, and a HGW leopard.
The HGW leo is pretty cool looking (the one stretched out in the front).
No filter.

2nd out is a nice single gene leopard....

There were only 2 clutches this season. They were laid less than 2 weeks apart.

These weren't supposed to hatch until Monday....they are early. We are so glad to see them though!
This one is a banana hidden gene woma.

We will update with pics of the first clutch after they have their 10 day sheds...they are already in the blue, and quite a bit bigger than they were when they came out a week ago🤗

7 were laid and 7 successfully hatched.
We have a champagne, a mystic, 2 enchi, and 3 champagne enchis. No 3 gene combos though😔
Not really disappointed...still good odds. The dark heads on the champagnes are adorable!

This adorable pink thing is a champagne enchi. The 4 that are left appear to be another single gene enchi, 1 mystic, and 2 more champagne or champ combos.

First 2 out....a single gene enchi and a champagne. We will wait until after their first shed (10 days) to more thoroughly determine their genes.

Right on time....early morning, day 58😍
Quicksand, our champagne enchi, is the dam. Onyx, our mystic, is the sire.
This one looks like a champ mystic (a machacha), but of course there will be close up pictures once they fully emerge from their eggs. Hoping for that 3 gene!

Did some deep cleaning today and snapped a nice pic of Tiger's Eye.
He is sitting right at 680 grams and will see his first girlfriend this winter.

He is a pastel red stripe. Red stripe is a fairly new gene and we are excited to see how he blends into our projects here

First clutch down....Quicksand laid 7 perfect eggs, first clutch!
Quickie is a champagne enchi, and our mystic male, Onyx, is the sire.
