Not the greatest pic but I think it shows what a great time my 9-week-old puppies were having. Many people don't know that German Shepherds are excellent swimmers. Swimming is a low impact exercise that really gets that puppy energy out and cools them down. If you want to take your puppy or dog out to swim, make sure that the water is safe to swim in. Blue algae blooms in fresh water are common this time of year and it is deadly. Check your states Department of Health website to see what bodies of fresh water are safe to swim in. You can also buy your own test kit from Amazon. I still consider summer best time to get a get a puppy! Please feel free to share some photos your dog enjoying the water!

Beautiful Crystal would like a home of her own We took in Crystal as a purebred West German 14 month old. She is undersized. 42 lbs full grown. Fancy GSD in a small package. We have been socializing her and she is a love bug. Crystal needs a home that will train this active pup. She loves her crate , other dogs, and people if they take their time with her.
