Behind those eyes in that instance, he knows he is moments away from spa session freedom. He thanks me for being delicate on his feetsies, skillfull and swift on his pedicure.
But even deeper, he stands in morning of his house companion, a playful entity that would light up a room and lift the saddest spirits.
We raise a glass to Scarlett and her dedicated companionship to her family.
Time slows down for no one, we just need to navigate our time wisely.

I would have never thought I'd see the day...
These boys have that natural look to their tease and know no different.
Graham's PT from spinal surgery is going marvelously, and Oliver tends to be the typical "loving" brother.

To shave or not to shave, that is the question.
Insulating?
Yes, but only when properly brushed out seasonal coat.
Comfortable?
If your pet is used to the sensation of having a full coat one minute and not the next. 1st timers can go into a form of reservation and depression.
Older pets seem to respond very well with less heavy coats in the hot months, making temperature regulation much easier.
Peaches here enjoyed her session, but we took note of her discomfort standing for long periods of time.
Joint supplements were recommended to Mom.

Our boy Dozer might have limited sight, but he still knows what he wants from a good experience, and we are there listening.

There is no more table service for this guy. Instead, having preference floor bound, he feels more in control of his situation.
One of the most gentle Olde English Sheepdogs we have encountered, making our goal of comfort and security even that much more important.

It's very often that we encounter seniors that haven't been groomed in some time due to fear of their age and maddening ambiance of a normal grooming setting. Judgment-free zone, we take each individual situation and cater it to the client's specific needs at the moment. ❤️

Welcoming sweet 16 year-old Keithly and her extended senior pack to our fold!
A semi-senile and anxious start, Keithly needed some extra TLC with her mats and skin bacteria. To accomplish such an amazing feat, we must get her on board for such a daunting task.
Mid session, we found ourselves getting anxious along with her, so sitting down with sweetness in our lap for a ten minute breathing exercise did the trick! Somehow, syncing us both up to the same page, we had a beautifully calm finish ☺️

Nissi had a much needed make-over including a face-lift!
She might not seem too impressed with our skills but she can't deny the overwhelming relaxed sensation taking over.

Having had one eye removed as a puppy, there is still maintenance that needs to take place in its absence. Trapped hair and moisture can become a problem and a haven for bacteria.
Not today, Bacteria, not today!

Hitting a pesky problem head-on!

We have begun a flea policy that benefits both parties involved. This minimizes infestation, educates owners on life cycles of the pests, ensures a flea-free grooming environment, and a whole earful of irradication advice!

If fleas are detected before the session begins, we can offer a Capstar flea pill that will kill the parasites within 10-15min, a flea shampoo & soak will be the next step. Finishing up by a tedious but thorough flea comb out of your pets coat.
A $50 fee will be added in addition to original grooming costs.
Or,...get those kids on preventative before the summer flea wars start!

Being a 10 year old Blue Heeler, you know what you want in life and the value of a friendly face.
A gentleman to his core, this ol' boy yearns to be clearly understood. Sending us subtle signs of concern throughout his bath and blowout, we made priority to listening to his boundaries so that a sense of trust and good communication was established.
A soft, relaxed natural expression was such a priceless offering from our boy at the end of his session. Giving us a non-verbal "good job" from one of our toughest critics.

Remaining calm with a chaotic, complex mind. With worry on her face, Stormy just wanted to be done with her de-shed treatment, but tumble weeds just kept on coming!
Calling bluff for the photo shoot, she didn't take my word for it that the torture has concluded.
