Bear has no idea. He doesn’t know that not a single person has shown even a sliver of interest in him. No adoption applications. No calls to the rescue he came from. His well has been dry, but we don’t want him to know that. And we don’t want him to go into a foster home. He’ll graduate very soon. And if he doesn’t have a forever home by then, foster care is where he’ll be. But we’re hopeful that someone will see his cheerful face and sweet smile and fall in love with him. He’s a good boy with plenty of smarts and a ton of happiness. Bear is an 11-month old mix of black dog and something else. He probably weighs about 46 pounds by now. He will not will big. But he will be an outstanding best friend.

Cold weather means the LRAV barn cat program needs some coolers and warming pads for the kitties as they acclimate to their new home.
