When you are trying to fold up the tarp but everyone wants to "help".
This is a bit late posting but here is day 4 of working with Swasey at The Mustang Summit with EQUUS Film & Arts Fest at the Adams County Fair. She went from just letting me get up and touch her on her right side only on day 1 to this on day 4 (wearing a halter, leading, body rubs and brushes, picking up front feet, and fly spray). I'm thrilled at how far she has come and how much she has learned and retained. She is still available for adoption and I would be happy to continue her training if anyone is interested in her. She is super cute and going to end up making a nice little horse. She also apparently likes to jump so could be a great little jumping pony! Sometimes things don't go as planned. But that's ok as it can also allow us to have bigger successes. For example, taking your first walk of your pen with a halter and lead rope. 💕🐴❤️. The first big "freak out" is always telling about the horse and I'm super proud of Swasey and how she used her brain after thinking something was attacking her face! OK, something WAS attacking her face! I will post more updates on day 4 with her later. She has made a ton of progress the last few days at The Mustang Summit at Adams County Fair and is still looking for her new home!
