Backwoods vote! What would you rather see those beaver hides turned into? Gloves, hats, a hoop or beer coozy’s ?

Tuesday was so incredibly exhilarating for me! I set a small trap line out Sunday, went out Monday to find a beaver shoved a stick through my 330 and set it off so I was feeling very hopeful when I reset and left for another day!
I set out Tuesday morning to run the line and the very last trap I checked was set under water, across a pond. With the warm weather we have been having it’s melted the creek I walked in on the last 2 days and the pond was nearly just a floating sheet of ice. But, I needed to retrieve my trap one way or another. After about a hour of struggling to get over to my trap I finally see it’s been set off! And WAMO! 🦫 I was jacked! I can’t wait to get back out! Stay tuned to see what I make out of this soft little guy!

Story time! This year, late in the fall hunting season my husband kids and I went to the woods looking to fill tags and all we spotted were two rifles with vortex scopes laying on the side of the road. One a .270 the other a .300 win. I couldn’t stomach leaving them and letting them fall into the wrong hands so I call the local police department to turn in the rifles. Within a hour or two the owners went and picked them up! Yay! They were so grateful! It was a husband and wife team from Washington and she shot a nice buck after they picked up their rifles! It feels good to do the right thing☺️ we are all in this together let make it worthwhile! Big congratulationsto this woman and her success this year!!
