Our very first baby ever born in our rabbitry has found his way back to us. His previous owner has developed terrible allergies and asked if we could take him back. Of course we said yes, even with our already overloaded buck ratio. How could we say no if we have the means, especially for our first baby! He’s a big boy at 4.6 lbs, but I think he has some nice qualities we could use in the herd! His name was Benny, but we always called him Chunk as a baby. He was a singleton and the chunkiest thing ever! He’ll be sticking around for a little while to hopefully give us some babies. He is for sure a chocolate carrier as well beings his dad was chocolate!

PL40 & PL43 are 👀 for a new 🏡 both bucks PM me if interested.

We decided to grow out PL41 (blue tort doe) & PL42 (black tort buck) for the time being.

Our buck to doe ratio is 😳 right now, we have limited cage space, 4 more babies that are a week younger, 1 other baby, and hopefully more in the nest box in a couple weeks, so we have to start making some cuts.

Beings this is our only baby baby at the moment it’s getting all the loving by it’s foster mom, Natasha, and by us! I think it’s a buck, of course 🙄, but we are just smitten with him! I think I have the perfect name for him, but Victoria has to approve first!

This little precious baby is 2 weeks old! The only live baby born out of 3 does. We don’t know what it is yet, but either way we’ll have to think of a good name for him/her! Our first broken black born to us and it has the cutest little milk dipped ears like it’s daddy, Cookie!

Picked up our newest addition this morning! Welcome SCM Hop Hop Sealy! Thank you Jennifer for another beautiful doe! Our small shaded project hasn’t really taken off yet, so we’re hoping this beautiful girl will help us along! I can’t thank Liam and Kelly (Liam’s Lucky Rabbitry) enough for bringing her home from convention for us and Rachael and her husband (Southern Spice Rabbitry) for meeting me this morning with her! We feel so incredibly blessed to call y’all our friends!

We had this boy 👀 for a 🏡, but just pulled him out of a bottom hole and now we don’t know what to do! 😩 We have more than enough bucks for our small herd already plus at least 5 more weaning soon, but he is looking so good! Decisions, decisions!

3 does bred last month, 3 does kindled, 6 babies born, only 1 alive. The struggle is real with these hollands, but grateful for our 1 baby that I had to foster to an experienced mom that lost her litter.

Good luck to everyone at the 100th ARBA Convention today, especially our friends we hold dear to our hearts! We wish we were there sharing the experience with everyone, but it wasn’t possible this year. We can’t wait to hear results!

Heads up: I’ll be posting some young juniors soon. They are 12 weeks old. I need to get some updated pictures of them. I had planned to get pictures, but this week has been so busy with work and running kids from one end to the other, I just hadn’t gotten to it yet. Until then, here’s pictures of mom (Southern Spice’s Bella - blue tort) and dad (Southern Spice’s Buddy - black tort), along with their 6 weeks pictures. 2 bucks and possibly 1 doe (not sure which one yet) will be available. They are all black torts, but they all carry dilute as mom is a blue tort. If interested, please send me a pm.

Mom and dad are NFS only their babies.

We’ve had a great time at the Cajuns VS Cowboys Show so far! Victoria brought 5 rabbits and all 5 placed top 5 in both shows!
Deut Creek’s Oreo got 1st in his BJB class in show A and Pointe Lapin’s Cookie got 1st in his BSB class and BOSV in show B! Back at it tomorrow!

Point standings have been updated! Super proud of Victoria! She hasn’t shown since May, but next weekend will be the start of fall/winter show season! We probably won’t be bringing much because we haven’t had a litter of babies in forever, but we are praying hard that we get some soon and Victoria will have some nice juniors for spring!

Our Milo brings us so much joy! He is my dream bunny, but he is loved by everyone that meets him! I instantly fell in love with him the moment I saw him in Rachael’s barn, and I felt so honored she entrusted us with him because we knew he was special to her too! We have fallen even more in love with him because he is the sweetest thing, he’s a cuddler, and a lover! Victoria and I are praying so hard for Milo babies! Hoping to have some next month! The face of a girl that was told she’s getting her “dream bunny” (her words) in a couple weeks! 🥰 She told my Mama, ”Maw Maw, I’m getting my dream bunny! He’s a broken black and his name will be Oreo!” I’m so excited for her! Thank you Brittney Banta-Troxclair for allowing us the opportunity of adding Oreo to our herd! You sure made Victoria one happy little girl!!

I’m one proud Mama and Victoria was so pumped up to see her name in The Hollander aka “the book!”

It was so fun to see her name and the names of our rabbit friends that we look up to!

Big congratulations to everyone especially the ones we hold near and dear to our hearts and get to share this amazing hobby with!

Victoria is 51st in the nation in sweepstakes points and 7th in our zone for Jan. - Feb. I’m so excited for her!
