Happy Days Dog & Cat Rescue We are dedicated animal rescuers from all across Michigan working together to save cats and dogs.

Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue is an all-volunteer, 501c3 registered non-profit rescue that rescues dogs and cats in need throughout Michigan and beyond its borders, to Ohio and other states depending on the need. We pull from rural shelters where adoptions are few and kill rates are high. We focus on 'urgent' lists and those dogs and cats that are overlooked because they are unattractive, older or

sick. We believe that every animal should have a second chance at a loving home; even if that loving home is in a hospice situation. We exist and rely solely on the generosity of our donors and our hardworking volunteers.

I can’t believe Nyla is still waiting for a home.

Nyla is a velcro pittie with a magnetic and outgoing personality. She likes to hug, go for walks, snuggle, and be with her people. Plus, at only 50 lbs, Nyla is the perfect size to match her perfect personality!

Nyla came to Happy Days as a last chance pull from DACC. You can watch her cheerful "freedom walk" in the video in the comments.

Packzi is a very sweet kitty that loves attention. She was rescued from a cat colony so she could have her babies in a safe place. All of her babies have been adopted out. She doesn't understand why she hasn't found her forever home. She is very affectionate and social, yet calm. She loves to rub against you and ask for attention. She currently lives with other cats and dogs.
