For the month of October, ALL trail rides will be offered at a discounted price when this post is mentioned! Instead of our normal $60 per rider for an hour long ride, we are offering them at $50 per rider on our horses. BYOH rides have a discount too- $20 per horse instead of $25!

We’ve been having a blast prepping our horses for hunter paces & spending our Sundays at the hunter paces 🥰 First we attended Deep Run Hunt, then Bull Run Hunt. Both courses were well marked and beautiful to ride! There’s 6 more to do & we invite any of our previous guests that can WTC to join us, on your horse or one of ours! As always, we’ve been using C Squared Performance Horses to trailer to these events.

Monday-Saturday we have trail ride availability nearly every single day in October, as well as the final week of September. We offer beginner friendly trail rides at the walk, welcoming people with no experience to pros. Ages 10+ for trail rides unless the child is a lesson student. Pm the page to discuss options for more advanced riders!

We also welcome you to trailer in your horse here & ride our miles of trails- it’s great prep for hunter paces and getting your horses in shape 😉

Curiosity got the best of us!
We decided to DNA test two of our mares, Juno and Rose. We adopted rose as a weanling from a local rescue, where her dam was known (but the dams breed wasn’t) & her sire was completely unknown. We got Juno from somebody locally, but her past before they acquired her was somewhat unknown. Needless to say, we weren’t positive what either breeds the mares were & really wanted to know. They are both willing to try anything, up for whatever you want to do, great on the ground, brave, and are just exceptional, teachable mares.

Well, the results are in! Our guess was spot on for Rose (even the thought that maybe some Hanoverian was in her). We are thrilled with the results and how fast this company got back to us with them. Highly recommend “DNA My Horse”☺️

One of my favorite things about teaching is seeing the improvement between lessons. June always comes to lessons more determined than the last. In just under a year she has come so far 👏🤩 That being said, improvement wouldn’t be possible without our generous horses ❤️
