A little late for both but Happy 2nd birthday K9 Rambo and Happy belated 10th birthday to retired K9 Bungge. They both enjoyed their pup cups last night.

Update: Enzo is feeling better today. The whole team is putting in time to give him that TLC. Thanks again to all the skilled veterinarians who have been taking care of Enzo. We really appreciate VCA Decatur and Veterinary Emergency + Critical Care and the Las Vegas Veterinary Speciality Center.

Today K9 Rambo and I had the distinct pleasure of giving a speech about his injuries from July 30th to the Freedoms Never Free group at the Fairfield county fairgrounds . K9 Rambo was the grand marshal of the pet parade and then helped judge the costume contest. Then I told this wonderful group of veterans about how Rambo was injured. After the speech was over we were surprised to receive the First Responder of the year award from this great group. We received a folded American flag and a wooden thin blue line flag for our award. I will treasure this forever. I would like to thank the Freedoms Never Free group and Amy Carpenter for the awesome day that we spent with them.

The picture on the right was taken before the wonderful vet came in and the one on the left was after the vet came in. K9 Rambo is cone free and allowed to return to full duty once his ride is back in service. Hopefully Monday or Tuesday. He was put back on an antibiotics for the wound and for a small ear infection but otherwise healthy considering.

K9 Rambo would like to thank everyone who sent care packages to him since he was shot. We go to the vet tomorrow and I will be posting an update afterwards. As for now he is healing up and can’t wait to get back to work. Thanks again for all the kind words and prayers.
