7th business anniversary...March 1, 2025! Blink! And that month is gone! A HUGE THANK YOU to all of our "from the beginning customers", and sooo many new fur baby families along the way. All shapes & sizes, all different personalities, aren't dogs are the best!!? For those who have crossed the Rainbow Bridge in the past and some recently, our hearts understand the loss, right along with those families. 3 years ago, our Willow crossed the Bridge and we frequently talk about her.

Swing by if its been awhile, especially if you haven't signed the wall, if you want a new groomer, if your cat needs a groom, or just come see us! We do "meet and greets" with you and your pet as an appointment if you are new.

Tues - Sat 8:00am - til we are done!!
We are flexible, have a great receptionist team, experienced groomers, and bathers that are exceptional. We require up-to-date rabies for all services that we offer. We aren't a pet day care. We have shop policies for cancellations and late pick ups, BUT are always ready to help as much as we can, when life gets too hectic!

From Nikki Karis, Founder of Tail Life:

Here is a link to Amazon, where you can purchase book one of my Goddogs series, chronicling my journey of awakening and how I came to learn the 10 Commandments of Dog Ownership and much more. It's a MUST READ!

P.S. I did not write the Ten Commandments, as they are attributable to Stan Rawlinson from Great Britain. The prior photo was removed by me and replaced with an image of the cover of my book. The post was edited 8 days after its original posting. Thank you.

The Ten Commandments of Dog Ownership

1. My life is likely to last 10-15 years. Any separation from you will be very hard and painful for me. Remember that before you adopt me.
2. Give me time to understand what you want from me. Please be patient with me.
3. Place your trust in me. It is crucial for my well being.
4. Do not be angry with me for long, and do not lock me up as punishment. You have your work, your friends and your entertainment. I only have you!
5. Talk to me, even if I do not understand your words, I understand your voice when it is speaking to me. You only have to look at my tail!
6. Be aware that however you treat me, I will never forget it!
7. Before you hit me, remember that I have teeth that could crush the bones in your hand, but I choose not to bite you. (DON'T HIT YOUR DOG!)
8. Before you scold me for being lazy or uncooperative, ask yourself if something might be bothering me. Perhaps I am in pain or sick, or my heart might be getting weak and I cannot tell you.
9. Take care of me when I get old, you too will grow old someday.
10. Go with me on difficult journeys. Never say, “I can’t bear to watch it” or, “let it happen in my absence.” Everything is easier for me if you are there.

** And always remember, I Love You!

Do Not leave them in a car!

Do Not leave them in a car!

As you enjoy the summer temps, please do right by the best friend who depends on you the most. Remember: a pet in a parked car, even with the windows open, can quickly overheat and die on a warm day.

If you see an animal in distress in someone’s car, call 911 immediately and try to find the owner. If you cannot find the owner immediately, and you are still waiting for first responders and the animal seems to be in grave condition, state law allows you to break the car window or make entry to save the pet’s life. ❤
