Thank you for the donation of toys!
This is chuckles! He is a bared eye cockatoo. I've had him for a few months. He's a very nervous bird. Owners released him to me cause there was no room in any shelters and she was moving to assisted living. And her husband had passed at 90yrs old. She was about the same age. Please no matter what age you are. You should have a plan. Or something in writing in a will with money for the care of them. The family is helping with the cost of meds, food and toys. Which I am very grateful for. I've seen what happens to birds after someone dies. They are left for their family (who in most cases have no idea what to do or how to care for them). Chuckles is a one family bird. Perfers men! He is 35yrs old. And in pretty good health. He does have some meds that is needed daily. And takes his meds on food. He is pretty quiet for a cockatoo. And doesn't talk much. He loves bells, sugar snap peas, and fruit.
It's very important that they can have baths.
