Ever notice those chi-chis on your Gato? 🐈‍⬛

Have you noticed that loose flap of skin hanging low on your kitty’s belly? That’s called the primordial pouch. The myth is that this pouch forms when a cat is spayed or neutered, but the truth is, it is part of a feline's genetics and begins to form, as the scientific name suggests, early on, around 6 months of age.

All feline BaBeeZ have them, males and females. It’s completely normal and serves a purpose:
� 🐈‍⬛ Protection: Shields vital organs during fights and rough play� 🐈‍⬛ Flexibility: Helps BaBeeZ stretch and move with ease while running or jumping
🐈‍⬛ Storage: Allows extra space for the stomach to expand after chowin’ down on meals

Every Gato has one, varies in size, and is not a sign of being overweight! So, show some love to them swaying chi-chis!
