A lot of you may not know this, but the very first Monty’s was born in a small yet mighty country - Croatia!🇭🇷 Our hometown, Crikvenica, is where it all started 10 years ago. But before our founding father/boss got into the dog-friendly beach biz, he was busy scoring goals as a professional handball player🤾 which makes this game extra special! 🌟
Croatia may have just over 3.5 million people, but when it comes to sports, we punch way above our weight - handball, football, skiing, water polo, you name it. There’s even a Croatian saying “Malo nas je, ali nas ima,” which loosely translates to “There may not be many of us, but we make ourselves known.” So, come watch the finals with us on the beach, cheer for our Croatian warriors, and (fingers crossed) celebrate a first-place victory in true Monty’s fashion: with dogs, drinks, food and a whole lot of fun! 🍻
