Adventurous day to night
We were on The East End to find a missing Puggle and a tiny poodle.

Bruno the Puggle is a sweetie. Luna the miniature Poodle is adorable but believes she's much much bigger than she is and yappy
They stayed together and owner got calls she was stopping at every house that had a dog to bark at them. Lol

I actually wrapped her in my shirt to put her in a carrier.
Bruno was easy and wanted to go home
Both Dogs are safe at home

Definitely feeling sore and old tonight. Lol

SHE'S HOME SAFE!

Earlier in the day I spotted this escapee but she was quick and disappeared.

Hours later we were watching a movie with chickens in it so I thought hearing such loud clucking was our speakers.

Sure enough I see her walking out front down my block.

It took 3 of us to get the job done.

I moderate several lost/found pet groups
Over the years I've learned important information.

Today advice from my friend Kelly Brach Professional Pet Trackers Trackers saved the life of my neighbor's runaway truck chasing puppy.

Accidents happen! Her owner was raking up leaves and someone else opened the deck gate and puppy Daisy bolted

At first I did yell the puppy's name and clapped my hands to get her out from just under the back of a moving truck

FOUND DOG: Female Poodle Mix at Sentenio Ave/Foster Street in Baldwin NY.
At this time the dog is not for adoption as we’re hoping to find her owner.
This pup was brought to us by the finder who thought it was Remi, it is not Remi but we are hoping to find this angel’s family.
She is very very skinny, very badly matted. No chip or collar.

FOUND 4/17/23, Copiague, case #23-143, female, contact Babylon Animal Shelter to identify/claim, 631-643-9270. If you are interested in adopting, you can come to the shelter, meet the dog, and then put in an adoption application. Up to 5 applications will be taken. Our strays are held 5 days by law and then they will get an exam, Heartworm test, microchip, and spay/neuter, and other medical procedures. Only once that is complete can they be picked up for adoption. You can expect it to take 1-3 weeks before a dog is ready for adoption.
