🐶💁‍♀️ Miss Roxxy strutted into the clinic this morning like she owned the place, and honestly, we’re not arguing. This fabulous girl came in for a pesky ear infection, but you’d think she was just here for a spa day. 🛁✨

She gave us the “I demand cuddles AND ear drops” look, and we obeyed. How could we not? Look at that face. 😍

Roxxy is now back on the road to feeling her best, ears squeaky clean, tail wagging at full power, and sass levels fully restored. 💃🐾

Feel better soon, Roxxy! Thanks for brightening our morning and making ear care look fabulous. 💖👂🐕

🏈🐾 Celebrity Sighting at ETPEC! 🐾🏈

Look who stopped by! We had the absolute pleasure of welcoming Savion Williams, East Texas native and newly drafted wide receiver for the Green Bay Packers, to the clinic, along with his awesome pup, Ace! 🐶💚💛

Savion may be making big moves on the field, but it’s clear he’s an MVP off the field too… especially when it comes to caring for his best friend.

We’re so proud to see one of our own representing East Texas on the national stage. Best of luck this season, Savion…. and Ace, you’re always welcome back for belly rubs! 🐕💚

🎇 HAPPY ‘MERICA DAY, Y’ALL! 🎇
From the team at East Texas Pet Emergency, where the only thing louder than the fireworks is your cousin Darrell's diesel.

We’ll be open 24 hours on the 4th, just in case:
🐶 Someone's dog gets into the Jello-O shots,
🐱 Your cat thinks the sky is declaring war,
🍗 Or Uncle Buck decides to "grill ribs real quick" with a blowtorch and a prayer.

💥 Fireworks and critters don’t mix... trust us, we’ve seen things.

So before your lab eats a glow stick and starts raving in the yard, remember:
🚫 No bones
🚫 No beer
🚫 No lighting bottle rockets from your flip-flop
🚫 And definitely no feeding your Chihuahua half a hot dog

🎆 We’re here all day, all night, and all rodeo long... because freedom never sleeps and neither do emergencies. 🇺🇸🦅

🩰🐾Featuring our highly-trained vet techs transforming into majestic fairy ballerinas, complete with ecollar tiaras and zero coordination. Graceful? No. Helpful? Also no. Entertaining? Absolutely.

🔌🐶 Mochi vs. The Electric Cord 🐾⚡️

Meet Mochi, a ridiculously cute pup who decided that electrical cords are clearly a snack. Spoiler alert: they are not.

She came to see us last night after a little too much curiosity (and possibly a shocking life decision). Mochi ended up with some burns inside her mouth, but don’t worry! After some TLC, pain meds, antibiotics, and a rinse-and-repeat with special mouthwash, she strutted out with her tail wagging. 💊🫧💪

We're happy to report this spicy sausage is going to be just fine. But let Mochi be your reminder:

🛑 Puppies + Cords = Big Nope.
✅ Tuck away cords and use cord protectors, especially with teething puppies around!

Give this brave little toaster-tamer some love and a round of virtual belly rubs. 💜🐾

💸 “Y’all are just in it for the money!”
👀 Oh sweetie… if that were true, we’d be on a beach somewhere, not pulling socks out of a Great Dane’s colon at 3am.

Let’s clear the air:

🚨 Emergency vet care isn’t cheap. And here’s why:

1️⃣ We’re open nights, weekends, and holidays... when your regular vet is sleeping like a baby (and rightfully so). That means higher staffing costs, afterhours trained professionals, and a full medical team ready to roll when everyone else is off.

2️⃣ Our equipment isn’t from Hobby Lobby. It’s high-tech, life-saving, and stupid expensive. (Like, "could’ve bought a boat" expensive.)

3️⃣ We don’t have magic funding. No government subsidies, no billionaire sugar daddies, and sadly no “free care fairy.” We run a small business that pays real humans with real rent and real student loans. 🫠

4️⃣ We don’t make the emergencies, we just clean up the chaos and save as many lives as we can. Your dog decided to eat an entire corn cob at 10pm? That’s not on us, fam.

💔 We get it... pet emergencies hit hard, emotionally and financially. We hate that part, too. But we promise: we’re not trying to rob you. We’re trying to save your pet’s life… and still have enough left to pay the electric bill.

So no, we’re not “in it for the money.”
We’re in it for the pets, the chaos, the purpose… and okay, maybe the snacks in the break room and the puppy snuggles.

🚨Live footage of Kane realizing this ain’t the drive-thru at Whataburger. 🚨

Kane: “Jonathon. Buddy. My guy. You said we were just going for a ride. YOU LIED.”
Jonathon: Smiling like he didn’t just commit the ultimate betrayal.

Despite the side-eye, Kane was a champ during his visit. He gave us attitude, drama, and a performance worthy of an Emmy… but he’s safe, healthy, and plotting Jonathon’s punishment as we speak. 🐾

At East Texas Pet Emergency, we handle scaredy pups, spicy cats, and everything in between... nights and weekends only, because that’s when the crazy stuff happens. 😅

💉 That little yelp after a vaccine? Normal.
🌡 That full-blown drama meltdown where your dog suddenly thinks they're dying? Let’s talk.

While most pets handle vaccines like the champs they are, some can have mild reactions like:
– Sleepiness 😴
– Soreness at the injection site 😣
– A little swelling or puffiness 😬
– Dramatic sighing, side-eyes, and Oscar-worthy performances 🎭

BUT if your pet is having trouble breathing, swelling up like a marshmallow, vomiting, collapsing, or suddenly not acting like themselves, THAT’S NOT NORMAL.
That’s an emergency. 🚨 And we’re here for it.

We take reactions seriously (even the ones that start with, “he was fine until he wasn’t”). If you're worried, don’t wait... call us or bring them in.

🐾 We’re Here to Help, Not to Be Heckled 🐾

At East Texas Pet Emergency Clinic, our team works hard round the clock... nights, weekends, and holidays, because your pets deserve top-notch care when they need it most. We may run on caffeine and compassion, but we also run on RESPECT. ☕❤️

We know emergencies can be stressful. We get it. You're scared. You're tired. So are we. But here’s the bottom line:
👉 Raising your voice doesn’t raise your pet’s priority.
👉 Being hostile won’t heal anyone faster.
👉 And verbal abuse? It will not be tolerated, period.

Our team is made up of real people giving 110% to help animals in crisis. Disrespectful behavior towards our staff will result in immediate dismissal from the premises and refusal of service.

So please, bring your patience... not your paws for battle. 🐶🐱💥

Let’s work together to make every visit a respectful one - for you, your pet, and our team.

🐍🐾 Biscuit vs. The Serpent 🐾🐍
Yesterday, sweet Biscuit found out the hard way that not all sticks are meant to be sniffed. One quick snoot too many and bam! Snake bite.

Luckily, her humans acted fast, and our team was ready. Biscuit got the treatment she needed and is already working on her dramatic retelling. (It includes betrayal, hissing, and a heroic comeback.)

📍 Snake bites are serious, don’t wait it out. If your pet gets bit, head to us ASAP. We’ve got the meds, the team, and the treats. 🐶💉

🚨The Dangers of Safe S*x... For Your Dog 🚨

Tonight, a curious pup treated herself to an unexpected snack from the latex buffet. 😳

Yep, you read that right. Kash came in for eating a condom. Listen, we fully support responsible human behavior but please remember: your dog doesn't know the difference between a trash can and a tasting menu.

Our canine friend is getting the care she needs (and probably rethinking her life choices) but let this be your friendly reminder:

🗑️Trash goes in a secure can - preferably one your dog can't open.
🚪Close doors like you're hiding snacks, because you kind of are.
🐶 If your dog eats something suspicious, call us immediately.
(we promise we've seen it all)
