“Steeler” is a 21yr old Appendix gelding. Diagnosed with PPID (Cushings Disease). Steeler is our newest case study and spotlight! He’s as sweet as he is handsome. Not only does he have to have expensive medication on a regular basis but a very strict zero sugar diet. (Although I might sneak him a treat to get him to stretch for me 😆 SHHHH)

The photos you see below are from top to bottom, 1st treatment of massage therapy and 2nd treatment, three day gap. Steeler will be on a very strict regimen of massage every three days for a month then reevaluated along with starting our rehabilitation program to build his core muscles and strengthen the ones he has.

Steeler is currently residing at Sunshine Therapeutic Riding Center in Pearcy, AR. on a trail basis to determine if he will be a good fit for their wonderful Special Needs program!
If you haven’t heard of their program you can find them on Facebook! Katja and Zach Summerlin are wonderful people with big hearts and have beautiful dreams to help special needs children in our community.

This is Aries! Her owner contacted me with concerns about her hips and a few other areas.
When I first met her she was so sad and not feeling well. Aries is probably one of the worst cases I’ve seen to date with canines.
When I came by a second time Aries was happy to see me and could not wait for her spa treatment! I was so tickled at how well she was moving around!

Just like humans, dogs and horses get sore too. Some more severe than others. If there is a chance I can help I will take it! This is why I love doing what I do, to help animals. ❤️
