It’s been quiet over here at Twitchy Whiskers. I’ve been keeping up with my barn and my bunnies…nothing special.

Today is the State Fair show. I’m ready to get some ribbons and have some fun! For the first time, I’m putting my own TW bred babies on the table. Let’s see how their genetics 🧬 measure up.

Last Saturday, my mom and I made a whirlwind trip to an ARBA (American Rabbit Breeders Association) show in Texas. 💨

I got to shadow my Lionhead mentor again. 💕 She looked at my first litter and gave me some insight on how they looked to her. I was also able to get two of her bucks to add more good things to my genetic lines. 🧬

Hey everyone! Remember that sweet baby girl (from my very first litter 🥰) that had tons of personality but I had to let go? 🥺

My mom posted her on the Arkansas Rabbits FB Page and we found a match made in bunny heaven! ☁️🪽🐰✨

This couple made letting her go SO much easier! They sent pictures of their bunny setup and WOW! 🤩 That little doe is going to be treated like a royal princess. 👑 How fun to meet other bunny lovers and know one of mine is going to such a good home. 💕

Ok, I’m sad to let this bunny go, but I am looking for a good pet home for this one. While she is 100% Lionhead, she doesn’t have the “fluff” that I need to make her show-able. She’s friendly and been handled.

*The last pic is for reference on what a show-able Lionhead looks like. See the difference? This sweet rabbit would be disqualified immediately. She deserves a good home. ♥️

We’re still not sure what happened but it looks like something tried to have bunny for dinner last night and this fellow was using all of his defensive skills to stay alive. (Was his cage left open? Did he squeeze thru a small opening in it out of fright? 🤷🏼‍♀️) He looked completely bedraggled this morning but uninjured. 🙌🏽🙌🏽 The “Bunny Bath” was the cutest thing ever and Lottie had to warm her baby up and dry him off before returning him to the Bunny Barn. All of the excitement/drama wore out our Twitchy Whisker CEO.
