Bungee’s Post-Surgery Update

We’re happy to share that Bungee is home from the hospital, and his surgery went very well! The team was able to address his issues, leaving him much more comfortable again. He is a little worn out, we’re so relieved to see him back to his sweet self.

Moving forward, we’ll need to monitor Bungee closely to determine if we need to make changes to his diet. We’ve also added a new medication to help manage his condition. It’s a process of trial and adjustment to find the best long-term solution to keep him thriving, but we’re hopeful.

We want to thank everyone who donated to make his surgery and care possible—it means the world to us and to Bungee. However, we are still about $400 short of covering the costs for the last three days of his hospitalization. If anyone can continue to support his care, it would be deeply appreciated.

Our goal is to start the new year with all of Bungee’s bills cleared, but any amount helps us get closer to that goal. Thank you for your kindness and generosity!

🚨 Bungee Needs Your Help: Surgery This Morning🚨

Bungee is back at the hospital this morning for surgery. After spending all of yesterday at the vet, it became clear he needed more help to get comfortable. This is the first time he’s ever needed hospitalization for this kind of issue, and we’re doing everything we can to support him.

Yesterday was incredibly tough. Bungee hasn’t been able to p**p despite all the care we’ve given at home, and the vet team worked tirelessly to help him. While we’re hopeful this surgery will make a difference, we’re deeply worried for him and focused on his comfort and recovery.

Bungee is only three years old, a happy, loving, and amazing cat who’s touched so many hearts. His care so far has totaled $513, and today’s surgery is estimated to cost an additional $555.39, bringing his total to $1,068.39. If you’re able to donate, share his story, or send love and prayers, it would mean the world to us and to him.

We’ll share updates as soon as we can. Thank you for standing with Bungee during this difficult time.

Esme is an amazing soul. Playful, very friendly and beautiful. It took some time to sort out this beautiful girls health issues but it was worth every bit of effort and time. Esme has been waiting more than three years and we would love for her to find a person/family to give her all the love, attention and pets that she craves and deserves.

Esme has congenital IBD and requires a special diet. (Not prescription) she is very well managed and is doing very well. You can read more about Esme on our fat Petfinder page See link below.

‼️Bungee Needs Your Love and Support Today‼️

We were hoping for a peaceful Christmas, but Bungee had a rough night. This morning, we rushed him to the vet because he’s been very uncomfortable and having difficulties with expression. We’re worried he might be constipated beyond what his usual support can manage.

The vet is working hard to help him, but right now, we’re waiting for more answers. His current bill is already at $413, and we’re unsure if additional visits or treatments will be needed.

While we need funds to cover his care, what we need most right now is for everyone to send prayers, positive energy, and love his way. Bungee’s quality of life is always our top priority, and having your support means the world to us.

We’ll share updates as soon as we know more. If you’re able to donate to help with his care, it would mean so much to us and to Bungee. But even if you can’t, please take a moment to think of him, share his story, and send all the love you can.

Please keep Miss Roux in your thoughts... Roux had another pretty intense seizure recently, even with the last medication increase. After speaking with our vet, it was determined that we need to add a second seizure medication to help try and prevent further grand mal seizures. Roux is a deeply shy soul, so we’re doing the best we can to keep these seizures under control without causing too much stress. Roux has a routine currently that she is comfortable with, which limits her being handled too much and helps to ensure she enjoys a good quality of life. Gus Gus and Jasmine have officially been adopted by the Evans family! This has been quite a story in the making. We could not be happier for these two amazing kittens who came from difficult circumstances. When the Evans family offered to foster our surprise intake, Jasmine, we were thrilled. When they decided she may need a younger friend and also wanted to foster Gus Gus, we couldn’t have been happier! Gus Gus & Jasmine hit it off famously. When these two made it their job to befriend their two other kitties (#HOBCAlumni Rafter and Lola) there really wasn’t any other possible ending but to make them all a forever family! Gus Gus, being a newborn when he arrived, has always loved human company and he still adores being cuddled and held. Jasmine has a mind of her own and was desperate to make friends with the other cats, which she was quite crafty at accomplishing. She still enjoys a snuggle with her human family as well. Thank you to the Evans family for wanting to give two more of our amazing kitties a fabulous loving home. We are overjoyed that they have found their way into the hearts of this wonderful loving family! Have a happy life sweet babies! 😘
