Possible tumors/growths around anus. Light hematuria.
Integument- Redness around eyes and ears. Small growths on right lateral thigh and dorsal lumbar, not open. There was a bleeding growth, approx. 1in in diameter, on caudal right forelimb, just proximal to carpal pad.
Integument- Multiple wart like growths, 1-2 cm in size all over body, wart like growth behind right front leg, above paw is ulcerated. Geriatric dog with an ulcerated mass.
P: Recommend rescue due to age. Pt may be a hospice candidate. Adopt with health waiver. Defer surgery due to age.

Good morning,
We would like to introduce you to our friend AMMO!
Ammo is an approximately 9 year old Pit mix that has had several rounds of treatment for upper respiratory infection without resolution. He is now no longer taking his medication willingly. Ammo has a fair prognosis of recovery if removed from the care center environment and receives appropriate therapy.
His name is AMMO He’s nine years old he was never neutered and now his owner surrendered him to the shelter during the worst time of year when it’s full saying he is aggressive while wearing a collar that says “I’m special”He was extremely upset during intake but now he’s calmed down and you could see his incredibly sweet personality. He injured himself chewing on the bars and that’s why he’s wearing a cone. The handler proceeded to palpate Ammo’s abdomen, back, hind legs, and tail without issue. Ammo then gently laid down to solicit belly rubs from the handler. Ammo was tolerant of the energetic dogs in the environment appearing more at ease around calmer dogs. Ammo would approach the handlers at times and solicit petting from them before moving on. Ammo continued to explore the yard on his own with a relaxed and social demeanor during the remainder of his time in the yard.

Meet Tamara, a gorgeous sweet gentle cropped ear girl. When she arrived at the shelter and was taken from the person she came in with, she was extremely scared. Who could blame her? If you were being brought to a jail, unfamiliar sounds, unfamiliar people, not knowing what’s about to happen next, you would be scared to. We have to remember that some dogs, just like human beings, are more sensitive than others and this can be an extremely frightening experience for a dog to be impounded. The person claimed that they found her but but very well may have been her owner based in her reaction being taken away. It took her a while to acclimate to the shelter, but look at her now. Staff said that she’s sweet and absolutely loves belly rubs.
Tamara‘s time is short but she’s looking for someone to help her feel safe, so she will never have to face a shelter again, and will go on to live a happy life, full of love. Will you be her hero?
