Hi everyone! My name is Mya, I am the owner of O’Brien Labrador Retrievers.

We have quite a lot of new people here following us along on our journey so I thought I’d re-introduce myself 🤗

Growing up we have always had a Labrador in our house. When I was 3 years old we got our first Labrador, Baxter. He was THE BEST. He would do handstands in the pool with me (not kidding, he would put his front paws at the bottom and his back legs would stick out of the water. It was incredible!), he would dive for rocks at the lake, loved camping, loved following us around and being apart of everything! He was our best friend. Sadly, he passed away a few years ago at 13 years old. He lived a wonderful life!

I come from a very well-known family of veterinarians in Montana
About 3 years ago, I walked up to my grandpa and told him I wanted to start breeding Labrador Retrievers and wanted to give families the opportunity to have a loving companion like I did.. he looked at me and said “If that’s what you want to do, I’ll support you and help you with anything you need”.

For those of you that don’t know my grandfather and my uncle own their own veterinary practice and have helped me with everything I needed along the way! I’m so beyond grateful for the both of them 🫶🏼

Here at O’Brien Labrador Retrievers our puppies are handled from birth with top-quality care and are given all the love they truly deserve. Our parent dogs have their genetic health testing done, litters are carefully and thoughtfully planned out beforehand, and our puppies are raised on an advanced puppy curriculum!📚

I can’t even begin to describe how grateful I am to be able to do what I do. I wouldn’t trade it for anything.

I’m so excited to have you all along for our journey.

Also, a huge shout out to her mama, Mallori, for continuing to take her to training classes. It will be super beneficial for Miley in the long run. Not a lot of puppy owners are willing to put in the time like that, so great job on your part. You’re doing awesome with your baby!💜🐾

We did some exciting (hard working) stuff here today..

Our new puppy area is in the works! 🤞🏼🥲

Today we leveled out the ground and put seed down. We hope to have grass soon and hopefully by the time Indy has her next litter in 6 months we will have this ready to go.

I have more ideas planned for this area but taking it one step at a time🤩

Our sweet Kingsley Rose 🌹

For those of you that don’t know, Kingsley was my keeper girl from Indy’s very first litter with Noble. Unfortunately, I have decided to have her spayed and not have her be a part of my program.

Some keepers don’t work out & that’s ok! That is part of breeding.

She is living her absolute best life with my aunt and cousins. She is such a great family dog and is so loved ♥️

I told you guys I was going to start doing it! 🤭 Since Indy loves to steal my stuff and cuddle with it. I thought maybe she’d love to try them on 🤣 She puts up with me for sure and all my activities. I love this girl to pieces ♥️

Surprise!! We are happy to announce that we will be having more Indy & Seger puppies 🥰 Indy will be expecting 5-6 puppies 🐾✨ We will not know exactly how many until her radiograph takes place.
