🎉💕 ADOPTED! 💕🎉 Eugene was adopted by his wonderful finder, who had been taking care of his whole little family in her apartment complex when we connected. I brought over traps, set them up, and his new mom had most of them trapped within an hour! Everyone who does TNR knows how impressive that is! He’s a spicy little tamale with me, but his new mom formed a bond with him right from the beginning. He’s such a lucky little guy to be given the chance to be socialized - it’s always those ones who you end up forming the strongest bond with. It takes time, patience, and extra love, but there’s nothing as special as gaining the trust and love of a scared little boy like Gene. Happy tails big eyes! ❤️❤️❤️

😩 Well I’ve hit my breaking point. I’ve always been so careful and responsible about how much I’m taking on. All of my cats were 100% healthy when I said could take 4 *HEALTHY* cats from Yuba to find fosters for. They’d been at animal control for 6 weeks with a vet, so I didn’t think I was taking a massive risk. Now I’m trying to handle 19 cats with giardia that won’t go away, URIs that are spreading, ringworm that lasts forever, wet FIP, and what looks like mange. By myself. And do my real lawyer job. There are 3 different quarantines in my house and I’m trying to track 9 medications and sterilize everything multiple times a day. I’m only sleeping a couple hours a night and I still can’t stay on top of it. My house is a disaster, I’m messing things up, I’m letting cats down - it’s just too much. I’m absolutely underwater.

➡️ ➡️ If you are able to take in this FIP cat and do her meds I will pay for everything and give you anything. She needs special attention and I’m literally drowning. Rescues are all full, I’m falling apart, and I just need a miracle.

Yes I’ve seen her post repeatedly calling me a b*tch, a dipsh*t, a village idiot, and making numerous baseless defamatory claims about me. Thank you to everyone who has reached out to express concern for me, I love you all! Rest assured I’m unfazed and totally fine. I’m confident you all know who I am, what I stand for, and all the rescue work I’ve done.

I don’t have much to say in response, despite my reflexive instinct to stand up for myself, mostly because it’s just beneath me. I’ll just say I’m not facing felony criminal charges and leave it at that. That’s not to say I’m not taking this seriously. I’m not just a lawyer - I’m a litigator. I will never hesitate to take action to defend myself if needed. I only care to clarify two things…

First, I was not involved in this case until after the authorities were already involved. I don’t have any control over anything. I stepped in to help raise money and do rescue outreach to try to find placements for cats who were being seized by animal control per the sheriffs department. I found out about this horrible situation as it was unfolding, and took it upon myself to join the effort to help. You’d think someone who supposedly loves those cats would be grateful.

Second, I did not keep one single dollar of the money raised. The GoFundMe funds and donations I raised were split between 2 wonderful rescues and independent rescuer who took the very sickest cats (all the FIP cats, crypto cats, etc.) and a transporter. I also donated $1,350 of my own funds to help with the *massive* medical bills they’ve already incurred. and will confirm this. Thank you again to everyone who donated for helping me support them! There’s still a long road ahead, but we’re all committed.

This whole experience has been truly awful and chaotic nightmare, but I’d go through it again if it meant saving even one cat. I also mean it when I say I wouldn’t be able to do any of this without all of you who support me. 💕 I’m eternally grateful for you!!! 💕

🚨🚨ADOPTED!!!🚨🚨 I am so overjoyed to share the news that Willamina has gone to her forever home! I am, of course, heartbroken that she’s gone especially because I’ve had her since she was just one day old, but I could not have wished for a better family for her. She is going to live with TWO other HHAK kitties!!! I could never figure out why she had been here for so long when she’s so funny and affectionate, but it turns out she was just waiting for her perfect family. She deserves the wonderful life she’s going to have. I miss her tremendously already. She was with me for so long that her absence is difficult, but it’s a happy sadness. A very bittersweet feeling that only fosters understand. My heart is full ❤️❤️ Congratulations my special girl, you found your home ❤️❤️

I’m absolutely heartbroken and beside myself. I transferred my two ferals to my new place and I didn’t hold them captive long enough so I opened the cages yesterday and they took off. Please I’m begging you to help me find them.

I’ve had Mama Sassy for 5 years and she’s so important to me. I love her so much and I’m just so upset. I also transferred my little black cat with a white chest, her poster will come next. She is so small and she needs me. I am 100% to blame for this and the guilt and anger is literally consuming me. I’ve been walking the streets crying for two days looking for them and my new neighbors think I’m insane.

Remember when I said I had big news? Well on Nov. 11th we’re having a cat party! This is going to be my first time hosting an adoption event, so I really need your support to make sure it’s a success!

🚨ADOPTED!🚨 I am beyond thrilled to announce that Pickle has gone to her forever home!!!! 🎉This is a super tough one for me because Pickle has been here over a year so it’s going to be a big change to not have her with me. I try not to cry during goodbyes, but this one got me. 🥲 Her new mom actually sought her out specifically because she’s been waiting for a home the longest, making her the ultimate white unicorn of adopters. 💕 Pickle waited so long to find her family because she’s a shy lady, though she’s gotten a lot braver with age. This is a reminder to ask about the shy ones because they are often the most affectionate with their owners. She’s so cuddly and sweet, and also such a weirdo. She’s hilarious and quirky and perfect! Im going to miss her so much, but I’m so happy that she’s found her home!!!!!!

‼️HELP!‼️ HHAK graduate Poppy (formerly June) has tragically been diagnosed with neuro FIP. Of all the variations of FIP, neurological is by far the scariest. Up until very recently, FIP was a death sentence. But we are SO lucky a new blackmarket drug now exists that can cure the disease. Unfortunately, the drug is very expensive, so Poppy’s mom has set up a GoFundMe to raise the funds to save her baby. The link is in ‘s profile bio, and it is also down below.

‼️PEBBLES UPDATE!‼️ I’ve gotten a LOT of adoption applications for Pebbles so I want to keep everyone in the loop. I promise I am not ignoring your emails - I’ve just had to put the adoption process on a brief hold because she’s come down with a URI that I need to treat before we can start setting up meet and greets. I want to make sure she’s healthy and in tip top shape when she goes home with her forever family.

🚨ADOPTED!🚨 I am so super pumped to announce the adoption of Poppy and Pepper! The best part is they went home together!!!! I am so thrilled these two get to grow up together, and with a new mom who is obsessed with them just like I am. They are already adjusting so well to their new home, and are having so much fun exploring and causing chaos. It’s always so hard to say goodbye, but it’s a lot easier when they go home as a pair.
