An Unraveling

an unraveling is taking place

deep inside me

extending to the cosmos

a beautiful dismantling

of all that I thought was me

of all that I thought wasn't me

a wondrous disintegration of old ways

held onto for far too long

holding me/you/us back for lifetimes

a massive spring cleaning

going into the deepest corners

of the hidden closets of my being

sweeping out all

the long-forgotten patterns

a making way, a making space

creating emptiness

a void for the birth of new creation

an "everything must go" clearance sale

to be free!

an unraveling is taking place

and I am absolutely getting out of its way

Great Saturday .camp !!! All around such kind, wonderful & positive people- from Arlene Van D**e, and all the Vandy Camp crew & vendors AND all the people who came to the theatre. Unfortunately, Mr Van D**e could not make an appearance. But there was still a fantastic performance by and the Vantastix. Everyone in the audience who wanted to, were able to express themselves directly to Mr Van D**e via the live broadcast. How sweet is that! So a change in events, and hearing how he's touched everyone's life was such a positive and uplifting twist in the day that really melted my heart. Because, of course, we all want to see and hear directly from The Legend known as Dick Van D**e himself, however he is TIMELESS, as that day at Vandy Camp showed me & everyone there. Through his energy and work and life he creates what we need most in this world- kindness. Especially kindness through laughter and joy, which is how to breakdown all these barriers that keep us apart as human beings.

Wow I didn't realize I was going to go on a diatribe there. With what's been going around the world right now, we could use more Dick Van D**es. When commenting on posts, texting, emailing, driving, or just going about your day, always think "What Would Dick Van D**e Do?" He'd probably smile....and laugh....and be kind. So let's do that.

Dry Camping in Ojai. Great friends (mine & my kids'!). Epic boulders. Crystal clear Creek. So many cool insects. Exhaustion. Trees on trees on trees. Rocket ships. Fire fire fire. 10+ mosquito bites (per person!). No cell service. Itch itch itch! Hooray!

I'm still trying to figure out how to make it a little less tiring to camp with the kids 🤣 Is dry camping with no kids (AND an RV) a little easier?! Please.....anyone....let me know lol it is fun to see how excited they are for all the little things like tadpoles, jumping in the water, finding new insects, etc.

Happy Pride in Placerita Canyon!! Released 2 more frogs 🐸🐸 they named them Addy & Rainbow.
