Our first camping trip of the year, planned back when Dori was still with us. It’s also been two months since she crossed the rainbow bridge. And we incorporated little things for her during the trip.💔

Mom says I’m not exactly the “down and dirty” type, I mostly wanted to nap in the car and maybe even drive us back home 😂 But at least they added a stop in Solvang just for me to sniff around. We had Brunch, I meet lots of new friends, and posing for silly photos that moms thought they were cute 🙄.

It was a fun road trip and a sweet tribute to our girl. But let’s be real… this boy’s built for city streets, not campgrounds. 🐾✨

Last night I dreamt of you, Dori your whiskers tickling my cheek, your silly piggy noises every time I squeeze you and kiss you always made be smile. In that warm dream hug, I felt you so close and it comforted my heart. I woke up with tears missing you even more, but that sweet dream left me with a smile 💕.

I hope you’re having fun up there, chasing squirrels and enjoying all the treats you can eat. Maybe you’re even devouring the chocolate bun you snagged off the counter when you were two 🍩. You were always the silliest, sweetest girl, still stealing hearts and treats wherever you go.

Our neighbors have been slowly asking about you. I told them you crossed the rainbow bridge 🌈, and they remember your cute little face and unstoppable sass. We miss you every day, sweet girl. Your memory fills our hearts and our little corner of the world with love 🐾❤️ ♾️.
