I've been pet-sitting for decades - more than a couple :), and in the
last few years I've gotten lots of recommendations thru word of mouth,
so I've decided to put up a page to advertise my services ~

I charge $35 for a guaranteed full hour for each visit, depending on travel distance, how many times per day and how many animals that will need care. The hour includes feeding, fresheni

ng water bowls, cleaning the bowls, dishes and areas they use, giving any medications needed, (I am good with administering fluids, as well); a nice, sufficient walk for dogs (per instructions), cleaning litter boxes for kitties; playing, brushing, grooming, and just basically spending some attention-time with them getting to know and enjoy them. I really like to know all my furry buddies that I take care of - and I do have a way with animals... >^..^<

My visit also includes water any plants, taking in the mail, and other household needs that might help you on your time away. I can also send e-mails to let you know how everything's going ~ whatever is needed to make sure you know your "kids are all right." I don't usually stay overnight, except in specific cases. That, too, can be worked out, depending on how many pets I'm caring for at the time. Please let me know if you need animal care from an animal lover extraordinaire!!!

My Story

Pictured above: Mamma P.I.A. (Pregnant In April) Soucetta Bruschetta Blanche, my sweet kitty who survived an apartment fire at age 18, barely, Christmas Eve 2013, blinded by the smoke from the fire, but living til 20 ยฝ (in human years). Her whole story, from start to finish is an amazingly strong will to survive and protect her babies.

Her son, Chowder Valentine Blanche passed away nine months after the fire at age 19. My other three beloved kitties did not survive the fire, but I stayed until they were found, my only solace being they all passed from smoke inhalation. Otherwise, I was destroyed. RIP Lulu Arabesque Coquette A-Go-Go, Daโ€™Vincci (Vincent) and Leilani Lillian. All beautiful rescues from dire situations.

Onward.
