🤩So cool🤩 Tube-dwelling anemones (Ceriantharia) are solitary marine invertebrates that live in leathery tubes buried in soft seafloor sediment, resembling flowers with two whorls of tentacles for capturing food and defense. Though they look like true anemones, they are not closely related and belong to their own group, using special stinging cells (ptychocysts) to build their protective, mucus-lined homes, which they can retreat into quickly when threatened.
