Meet Harley! Pryor’s Planet rescued this lovable senior just a day before he was set to be put down at the Chatsworth shelter! The volunteers had nothing but good things to say about him. At 11 years old, Harley is a sweet and goofy guy with bursts of energy. He enjoys being around people and is currently staying with a foster family where he’s getting along wonderfully with their older kids. He’s exploring his new environment and adjusting nicely!

Harley has been fully vetted by Pryor’s Planet. The vet believes that Harley has suffered from neglect and quite possibly been an outside dog all of his life.

He has some mobility issues, but he gets around just fine. We’re really hoping to find him a new foster home since his current arrangement is only temporary, or even better, a forever family! Harley is your classic husky—he chats, but he’s not loud. He walks well on a leash, knows how to sit, and will take direction. He would thrive in a family with older kids and someone who loves understands huskies.

Don’t be fooled by his age! He’s full of life and has so much love to give!

It’s Shiloh! This charming fellow is looking for his forever home! He has striking good looks and has completed his training! Shiloh knows commands like heel, sit, down and shake. He thrives on social interactions, enjoys the company of both humans and dogs, and has a passion for learning and playing.

At just over a year and a half, this attractive shepherd/lab mix has a heart as big as his stature! Shiloh is neutered, vaccinated, and eager to find a loving family who can give him the affection and room to roam that he craves. Full of energy, he’d be perfectly suited for a home with a yard where he can run freely and enjoy himself, not to mention he loves swimming pools. Did we meet that he does well with children and other pets!

As an exuberant young dog, he’s eager to find a companion(s) who will help guide him on his training adventure. To sweeten the deal, he comes with a free session with his amazing trainer, who’s always ready to answer any questions you might have. Shiloh is a true joy, with his tall frame and stunning coat. Meet Shilo, a charming one-year-three-month-old shepherd/lab mix pup with a heart as big as he is tall! Shilo is neutered, vaccinated, and all set to find a family that can shower him with love and give him plenty of space to roam. He’s super energetic and would thrive in a home with a yard where he can run around and have fun. Oh, and he loves the pool!

Shilo is great with other dogs and kids, making him a fantastic family pet. Shilo is a quick learner and already knows commands like “sit” and “down”! If you’re searching for a loyal, lively, and friendly furry friend, Shilo is definitely your guy! Consider adopting handsome Shilo or becoming a savvy foster!

We're helping spread the word about sweet Granola! She was saved from a kill shelter by her foster parents and is ready for her forever home. Granola is a 4-month-old lab mix is almost fully vaccinated, spayed, and full of joy. She adores other dogs, people, and we know you'll fall in love with her. Contact us if you’d like to connect with her fosters. Granola is about 20 lbs and is located in the Burbank area!

Just wanted to give a shout to all the dogs who found their forever homes recently!

Sweet Zaddie was rescued from a terrible hoarding situation by Pryor's Planet - but now, she has found her forever home and they are simply magical together!

Lovely Goldie has settled into her forever home! Her family shared that Goldie adores her toys and has a special spot in their TV room. They consider themselves incredibly fortunate to have her. Congratulations to Goldie and her new forever family!

Shasta, previously known as Sophie, and her brother Snoop have officially found their forever homes! They are a beautiful family!

Introducing Tina Turner, a delightful and stunning Pit/Black Lab mix with an amazing personality. She is in search of a loving forever home! Tina is around 9 months to 1 year old and enjoys the company of other dogs. Initially a bit reserved at the shelter, she has blossomed and loves going for walks, excelling on a leash.

Currently mastering the "sit" command and eager to learn more, she adores showing off her tricks and is eager to please. Affectionate and quite the kisser, she is full of energy and would thrive in a home with a friendly dog and a spacious yard. Tina is friendly to strangers and has a loving disposition. The trainer is committed to assisting the new owner in ensuring a smooth transition. She's great on leash, house trained, crated trained and knows her go to a pillow command! She's awesome!

Birdie, a 3-year-old boxer/mixed breed, was rescued just in time from the Kern County Shelter in Bakersfield by Jennifer Pryor of Pryor’s Planet Rescue, a 503c.

She is a medium-sized beauty and is good with most dogs when introduced properly. She is also okay with cats, as long as she is supervised. Birdie is toy-driven and loves water, be it the beach, bay, or kiddie pools. She is crate-trained, not destructive, and loves all humans, big and small. She has no health concerns, knows basic commands, and rides well in the car. Birdie is a confident and tail-wagging type of gal with a medium energy level.

She enjoys long walks on the beach or lounging on the couch at home. She is not much of a barker and has good coping skills, and easy to walk on the leash.

Birdie was spayed on 4/12/23 and is up-to-date on her vaccinations.
