Minnie is going to be my helper today with client dogs. She is very excited because she knows her travel bag means we are going to do something together. I briefly take her through the steps before loading her into my car. Admittedly, I repeat, commands a few times and say extraneous words which I tell my clients constantly not to do. So many people possess a very self serving mindset and everything else comes second to them. This includes the needs of their dogs. I experience this often in my human interactions and find a lot of people in the modern world would rather feel good and drift along on a cloud of narcissism to fit in and avoid uncomfortable thoughts/realities instead of buckling down and being of service while make efforts based in self awareness. If for nothing else, do it for your dogs.
