There is never a good time for bad news.
It is with yet another heavy heart, that I share this pretty Evie girl has crossed the rainbow bridge.
I've been checking on Miss Evie for over a year and a half. She had heart failure that was being managed wirh medication, which is the main reason why her wonderful owners found me. Her condition was well managed, and she was always a champ at taking her medication. If she ever thought about protesting against taking her pill, all I'd have to do is tattle to her mom via text, and she'd give me a judgey look (as if she knew), and proceed to her bowl to gobble it up! There is nothing this girl loved more than her Temptation Treat Tubes, and I know she is eating these without restrictions in her dreamland.
At 8 years old, she is gone way too soon, but her life was filled with so much love from the best owner's any animal with medical needs could ask for.
It's been a pleasure little miss ❤️
Working with a large population of animal medical cases makes these sorts of days occur more frequently than what a standard pet care professional sees. These days are taxing and emotionally draining.
However, my heart is immensely full with gratitude that each of these owner's have trusted me enough to care for their fragile babies. I'm happy to support all pet parents continue to live their lives as normal, travel, and make beautiful memories, even if they have animals with ''time-consuming' or 'complex' needs. Stepping up and making the decision to care for a special needs animal is very couragous, all-consuming, frustrating, emotional, etc.. You owners should be commended. I see you, and all the hard work that goes into the care and love you provide. I'm here to assist you, every step of the way, until the very end💙.
