Rocket found his forever home!
Rocket is a 5 1/2 month old male border collie out of a good friends breeding. He is a full brother (repeat litter) to my boy and one of my main competition dogs, Ash. He is a half brother to my C1 litter with Valor also being his sire. I can’t say enough good things about the dogs I have met, worked, and experienced from both his dam and his sires lines. Rocket has some basic foundations and he is continuing to learn obedience, engagement, crate training, and house training. He is an all around fun puppy. He is outgoing, social with humans of all ages and with every dog he has met. He is a very easy traveler and he will just sleep or lay by your arm. He is naturally good on the leash, and we are continuing to work on our loose leash walking skills. He is stable in new environments, and he hasn’t shown me any weirdness with people, floors, loud noises, or new things. This puppy is very naturally handler engaged, and he wants to work for you! He will literally just sit there waiting to see what the next thing that you want from him is. 😆 He has high food drive and medium toy drive. (It has a lot of potential to be built up more) Both sire and dam are health tested, and they are clear of any testable disease through optimal selection. (good/normal-fair/normal)
Rocket would do well in an active pet home or a beginner sport/working home. I would love to see this little guy cherished and do all of the things! In the meantime, he will continue to advance in his training and get more exposure/socialization as he ages. He’s a fun dog to learn with, and so easy going!
