"Hey Team NMBDT!

Just a quick update on the household of Doc and Boyd. You may remember we got Doc (formerly Odin- who was returned to Mary’s dogs) last spring. Helen, Allison reported that you told them I would be a good human, so thank you 💕.

We started off with Katie for fear free work as Doc had a history of being pushy and mouthy and we informed our vet who was delighted to know of our plan. Over the summer and fall we have really leaned into love and building trust. Doc is not what I would call mouthy, he does love it when you let him lick you and you tug his teefs. 🤣

Well, here we are about to wrap up our polite in public with Travis, after doing a level 2 with you Katie, and a double trouble with Josie and Boyd. It’s week three of using a harness instead of a gentle leader 🥳 and for the last two weeks on nail trim time Doc simply stood and let me pick up his foot and clip. Of course he got bits of liver and jerky after each foot. 💘 We enjoy lots of hikes and travel with the dogs and they are ace’s at laying on patios with a treat as well as shopping for treats at agway and Sandy’s.

I am so grateful for you and the entire team! The guidance given makes it easy to learn how to accommodate our beast friends and structure our lives so everyone is happy.
