Found out we have a Persimmon Tree in our back yard, can’t wait to try to make some jelly out of them. I’m very happy to have this tree, our property has shown me that we have a lot growing around us naturally that we can eat.

We said Hood Bye to Snoopy at 32 yrs old Run Free, she was laid to rest by her pasture mate who passed away a before her Zulu. They now continue to share the same tree the use to share when they were with us.

Always a project around here but needed to fix and repair chicken own. Our neighbors gave us a few chickens knowing we didn’t have anymore cause they got killed. She is hatching a few more us too. How Blessed to have such wonderful neighbors.

With Bessie and the her calf also came Daisy she is a Micro Miniature heifer 2 yrs old and is very attached to cow family which now crew by the our two that live her. Now we have 4 big girls and one little baby girl.
Keeping our fingers crossed that Wilma and red are pregnant and calf in Sept/ Oct.

Welcoming Bessie home and she came home with a new calf by her side what a surprise that was on Good Friday when I was called about a calf. Never knew, but it wasn’t in the cards for Bessie to stay where she was so home she came. Bessie is in milk and I milked her today and she was great about it. Calf is a little girl who doesn’t have a name yet but once one is given I post it.

Our daughter, we are so proud of her. She has her own way with animals very connect to them. Her soft gentle way with animals, her calm personality and her spiritual bond with them is an amazing gift she has.
