This is why we recommend heat mats or pads instead of Ceramic heat emitters. Hedgehogs don't fly, but humans (and their other pets) Can bump that heat emitter right onto something flammable. They can also 'burn your fingerprints off' hot to the touch and very dangerous to kids! Don't be a statistic, Listen to your local hedgehog breeder!
