At Kudzu Kennels we offer obedience training that is customized to the particular needs of your dog and the desires of the owner. After an initial consultation, we will set up a training program that is specific to your dog. Our main goal is to have a well-mannered dog that will behave properly in a structured environment

*Some of the training that we provide includes (but is not limited to):
- Walking calmly on leash without pulling ("Heel")
- Off leash recall ("Here")
- Sit (stay)
- Place (to a dog bed)
- Down

*Some of the issues that we deal with includes (but is not limited to):
- Pulling on leash
- Not coming when called
- Jumping
- Resource guarding
- Nipping
- Chasing cars
- Not waiting on food bowl to be set down
- Anxiety
- Never settling down
- Jumping on furniture

*Once training is complete, you will have access to free private lessons or phone consultations should you need help with how to get the most out of your dog's training.

Kudzu Kennels at the beach!! After 3 days of not training @ I was itching for a challenge, so I found the worst behaved dog on the beach and went to work. “Rocky” was dragging his owners around like he owned the place! After much discussion and a few trips up and down the beach, Rocky was acting like a new dog!

Sometimes training is simply overcoming fears. Last week Lefty here couldn’t walk past my truck without freaking out. Today was a huge step for Lefty!!! Good boy!!
