At Kudzu Kennels we offer obedience training that is customized to the particular needs of your dog and the desires of the owner. After an initial consultation, we will set up a training program that is specific to your dog. Our main goal is to have a well-mannered dog that will behave properly in a structured environment

.

*Some of the training that we provide includes (but is not limited to):
- Walking calmly on leash without pulling ("Heel")
- Off leash recall ("Here")
- Sit (stay)
- Place (to a dog bed)
- Down

*Some of the issues that we deal with includes (but is not limited to):
- Pulling on leash
- Not coming when called
- Jumping
- Resource guarding
- Nipping
- Chasing cars
- Not waiting on food bowl to be set down
- Anxiety
- Never settling down
- Jumping on furniture

*Once training is complete, you will have access to free private lessons or phone consultations should you need help with how to get the most out of your dog's training.

When Abby came to me for training a few years ago she was hyper and loved to jump on people. Now when we go to Alabama for the holidays, we get to see her relaxing and enjoying company.

Neglect and abuse look very similar. Most dogs that I see acting like this are suffering from neglect. In this case, Princess has probably not had much interaction with people in her 5 years. She needs a lot of positive interaction to help her overcome her social awkwardness
