Good morning Boxer friends! It's Thursday Aug 8th, 2024. Our website has been updated. Link will be in the comments. Both boys have their own pages with lots of pictures and we have a video we are uploading for this afternoon. Their vet check will be on Tues and they will be ready next weekend. HERE IS THE INFORMATION ON TRIXIE!!!

Trixie is a 3 year old Flashy fawn SPAYED 1/2 German 1/2 American Boxer (out of CAPONE AND DIXIE). She is current on shots including Rabies, micro-chipped, current on deworming/flea. She is 1000% crate trained, and walks well on a leash. She is very mellow towards people and has NEVER offered to bite a human. Highly intelligent.

She is also health tested and is ARVC (Cardio) and Degenerative Mylopathy (DM) NEGATIVE

The bad: She has an extremely high prey drive. She is not suitable for a home with any sort of small animals, especially chickens or cats, which we have both. She has killed a couple chickens, and looks for cats. She is also hard to keep contained. She is a climber. She leaps over things in a single bound like Super Man! She is very athletic. More the tall/lean style Boxer.

Our farm is not a suitable place for her. She would to best in a CITY HOME WITH NO CATS where someone can take her for walks and keep her in the house. Someone with Boxer experience is preferred but not required.

She is a quality Boxer and will make someone an awesome pet, just not in a farm setting.

Good Afternoon Boxer friends Wed Aug 7th. Just got these photos done but running out of time to give a long posting. More info to come. We have two very handsome fawn boy pups ready to go soon, as well as a spayed flashy fawn girl 2.5-3 years old (have to check records) that are available. I have an appointment have to run. Does anyone want any house cats? I can not continue to rescue these kittens if I never rehome them. They are starting to fight. If anyone knows of anyone wanting a cat, PLEASE let them know. Free of charge, most are spay/neutered.

Good morning Boxer friends! Pupdate for Thursday 6/13/2024. We still have one classic fawn girl available. She is very sweet, full of energy. We also have a new litter due any day (will be an all fawn litter). We also have a 2.5 year old flashy fawn girl that was recently spayed. She has a lot of good and bad issues. Bottom line, high prey drive. Can not be around chickens, cats, small animals or she will try to eat them. NOT SUITABLE FOR FARM LIFE! Otherwise she is very sweet, calm and almost stoic, ,leash trained listens well, wants to please her humans. She is doing great after her spay and could go to a new home this weekend. Low adoption fee. We will be home and available for pick up this weekend. We can offer FREE delivery to the Merrilville, IN area on next Monday or the SW MI area (Paw Paw MI) on Tuesday morning. We are going camping the family in Michigan for a week after that. I have no idea if we will be having working phones or even the ability to text after that, so if you are considering them, please do so quickly! Otherwise we may not be available until we are returning on June 24th. PLEASE DO NOT ASK QUESTIONS ON HERE! We are very busy preparing for camping and will not be on the computer much. Good morning Boxer friends! We have ONE fawn girl available, she will be 9 weeks this weekend. We only had 2 (Congrats to long time friend Todd and Lori Walker!) So we really haven't advertised her at all. She's lonely with out her brother, and could make a family very happy! We could also meet up or deliver in the next few days. Good Afternoon Boxer Friends! We have one classic fawn Boxer girl ready in May and another litter due in about a month. Most know that we have decreased our Boxer breeding program for many reasons. Mainly, smaller puppies are easier for our old bones to carry in and out of the house to potty. Our primary breed for the past few years has been Shih Tzu. We have an issue of "last puppy syndrome" several little girls and a couple boys still needing families! I will be delivering (for an additional fee) this coming Saturday April 27th through WV, to Morgantown to Hagerstown MD, up to Harrisburg PA, Allentown PA, all the way to Union NJ! Good morning Boxer friends! We still have one little guy looking for his family for Christmas! Lucas will be 8 weeks old this weekend. The pictures in the teal backdrop were from yesterday afternoon. We are allowing families to come out as late as 2:00pm on Christmas Eve. We can also meet short distances to help with driving I-65 Upton Exit from the South, I-65 Elizabethtown for the North and West, and Leitchfield for those coming from the West. Lots of people curious about Zeus, his DOB is Oct 18, 2022 so he is just 2 weeks shy of his first birthday. He IS neutered, current on vaccinations, micro-chipped etc... he has been has healthy as a horse. Both of his parents are ARVC and DM negative. PERSONALITY: He is a very sweet boy, but hasn't met too many people, Brad and I and a handful of teen neighbor kids that sometimes help with chores. Our kids are grown and our grand-daughter is little, so he has NOT had any experience with babies or small children. Not that he would do anything bad, but he is a big boy and might not respect personal space, so I wouldn't really recommend him for a house with kids under 9-10 years old. CATS: I really wouldn't trust him around cats. The only experience he has had is with our outdoor cats teasing him across the fence and he seems very excited about them and not necessarily in a good way. DOGS: He gets along with all of our dogs, big, small, boys, girls. He hangs out with 4 pound Shih-tzus and we trust him. TRAINING: He is NOT leash trained. We have a fully fenced back yard and he just runs in and out of the house. He would do best with a house that has a fenced back yard unless you want to give him a crash course in leash training. He is 100% crate trained, solid, hasn't had an accident since he was tiny. DELIVERY: We do not have a way to deliver him other than to drive him ourselves, or have someone drive here. WE ARE GOING TO SW MI this coming Wednesday the 11th to deliver one of our Shih-Tzu pups. We would be happy to have anyone interested split the delivery fee with the other family. There are several ways we can get there, going up I65 and meeting at I94 in Merrillville IN, or going up I69 and meeting at 69/94 junction near Marshall MI. As always if you have questions it is best to just give us preferably a call at (270)832-2457. Also we should be having our first litter, which will be the ONLY litter with brindles in it, born in the next week or so. That puts them at 8 weeks around the first week of December. The other litters will be closer to ready at Christmas. There will be 2 all fawn litters with the possibility of flashy, and then one litter that will very likely be all classic fawn with dark mask.

Good Afternoon Boxer friends! Finally an update, finally something to let people know about. First this is Zues. He is a NEUTERED boy about a year old. We had kept him for breeding but then decided he was too closely related to most of our girls so... he is now available as a pet. Strikingly beautiful boy. In the comments you will see him with Olivia. They look like twins, but she is actually a year older and she will be having puppies in the next month or so. As many know we downsized last year, so we haven't had ANY puppies in 2023, but that is going to change over the next 6 weeks. It's looking like we may have about 4 litters with puppies ready to go between late November and early January. There should be both fawns and brindles, flashy and solid coloring. We will keep people posted as we have more information or FEEL FREE TO GIVE US A CALL. We are old and busy and we don't live on facebook! Our phone number is (270)832-2457.

Hey Boxer family!!! We....have been having problems since Friday. Strong winds did a LOT of damage to our trees including one right over out driveway, we had a lot of power outages. We do have a generator, but it was just basically keeping our basement from flooding. It would be bad for anyone but when we are dealing with animals, it has been rough. Please give us a few days to get back in gear. Apologies for not getting back with people promptly.

Lot's of updates Boxer friends!!!! WE WILL BE MAKING A DELIVERY TO HAGERSTOWN MARYLAND ON SATURDAY February 4th, arriving mid-afternoon! We do charge a delivery fee. For more information on that, please click this little gals picture and the information is in the ad-- facebook is so touchy these days! We still have some BEAUTIFUL pups available. Boys, girls both fawn and bridle! ALL ARE ARVC NEGATIVE and DM negative or carrier (will not get DM!) So, the pictures are really old! We are going to try to get updated pictures in the next day or so, but it's going to be like wrangling goats at this age, and really probably short videos would be more appropriate since 99% of the photos are going to be a blur!!! Over-all we are downsizing Boxer breeding program starting last year and we will continue to downsize this year as well. By next year we are hoping to only have 2-3 litters per year to meet the needs of our previous customers. Due to changes in facebook and the internet in general, we just aren't getting a lot of new eyes on our website. Not to mention Brad and I (Jeanine) are getting older and having a lot of dogs makes it very difficult for us to travel or really have much of a life other than caring for the dogs, and as our children and their friends are grown, we have very little help so that we can actually leave for more than 8 hour together. Update on some delivery and pick up times! We will be meeting a family in Bowling Green (KY) tomorrow evening. That delivery is free of charge if anyone else would to meet up to purchase a puppy. We will be meeting in Elizabethtown free of charge on Saturday morning. We are available for people to come to our home to pick up puppies on Saturday afternoon, for sure and possibly Sunday afternoon. *******We are trying to make a trip heading East in the next weekend or two Feb 4th or 11th-- if there is enough interest, price for that delivery will depend on how many puppies we have heading that direction, and how far we must travel.
