Welcome to the Safe & Hound in Home Dog Boarding page!🐾 We specialize in taking away the anxiety of leaving your pet behind while on vacations, work trips, or any other reason your fur baby can’t travel with you. Here at Safe & Hound (located in Louisville KY) your dog will receive 24-hour cage free attention!🤩 They will have full access to the comforts of the indoors, which includes all the FUR-niture!☺️ They also have full access to a fully fenced in yard at all times, complete with lots of toys, running room, shade, and sunshine!☀️ We strive to make your fur baby as comfortable as we possibly can so please feel free to bring their favorite toy, blanket, bed etc with them during their time here!🤗 We will send photo and/or video updates of your dog so you can see how much fun they’re having!📸
A little about me!
My name is Kelsie Bradley and I absolutely love animals, especially dogs!🐶 I am a certified Pet Groomer and also certified in Pet CPR and First Aide! I have been dog sitting/dog walking for several years just from word of mouth, however I just recently decided I would try and reach a wider audience through a fb page. I have found that so many dog owners are looking for a cage free and stress free environment for their babies when they travel and I want to provide that for as many dog owners as I can!🩷 The two hounds behind the name are Willow & Hanny. Willow is a 4 year old Bluetick Coonhound and Hanny is a 8 year old Beagle! They are the perfect combination of both laidback and playful and absolutely love visitors! My husband Lance is also a HUGE dog person and loves spoiling our doggy visitors with cuddles and treats!🥰 We both know how to administer any meds your fur baby may be on and have no problem doing that at all.
🎾Requirements: Dogs must be dog friendly, house trained, spayed or neutered, up to date on core vaccines and bordetella, & must be on flea & tick preventative. Also, we cannot accommodate a free-fed feeding schedule..they will require timed feedings during their stay.
❗️Pricing: Small Dogs (0-24lbs): $45 per day
Medium Dogs (25-59lbs): $50 per day
Large Dogs/XL Dogs (60lbs & up) $55 per day..Additional dog discount (applies for 2nd dog or more only) $12 off total stay.
Extended stay discount (5 days or more) 10% off total stay.
🚘 Drop off & pick up times are from 8am-8pm. For times outside of this range please msg me and I will try my best to accommodate!
(Dogs picked up prior to 12noon will not be charged for the day, any dog after will be charged for 1/2 day.)
🦴 add on’s: If you would like your fur baby to have a bath, ear cleaning, nail trim with filing, or a groom(if availability allows) prior to picking them up, please let me know and I will try my best to accommodate that! 🐾
