More certificates to cover my wall! I'm always looking for classes to better care for my clients!
Sometimes you just got to let the terriers be terriers and dry their own face off πππ.

When they get white faces we move to the floor for grooming. It's harder on me but better for them π .
She has the ability to sit or lay down of shee needs to and cotton balls in her ears to protect from the sound of the dryer. It's all about making it comfortable for their old bones π.
I'm not great at recording my work but here's an inside the trailer view! An example of me working with a "π©" dog. Sorry it's not the best video lol
Details:
I'm working with a beautiful soul that had a rough puppy hood that resulted in extreme stranger danger and because of that she was deemed "aggressive" . But her owner is doing her best to do what's right for her. She's muzzle trained and has a lovely red basket muzzle but she doesn't need it once she's in the trailer and settles down. And I'm confident that after a few more visits she'll recognize me enough to get over her social fear, of me at least.π. This is my second time with her and this time we did it without a sedative. ( I prefer drugless if possible so we can build trust together, I also did this with a rottie).
We had no issues and I look forward to working with her some moreπ
I work with all kids of emotional dogs and I just ask that you be upfront and honest with me, I'll work with you and your dog to come to an agreement. Safety is top priority for everyone involved! If your dog is grouchy, bites, or whatever we can work something out, it may not be show quality grooming but we can work on that after we learn that grooming isn't that bad.
Note, muzzles are a great tool when used properly! I love them in replace of cones after surgery or injury, or if they eat things they shouldn't like rocks. Or just to wear on a walk so people leave us alone π lol
Starting off the year with a very cute little Maltipoo πΎπ«§β¨

Rest in peace little sweet panda πππππ it was an honor to be your last groomer. I loved you like one of my own.
It's the worst call a groomer can get, when a client has to cancel their next weeks appointment because they are no longer with us ππ
