You probably already know this, toys are very important because they give your parrot lots of mental stimulation and keep them from getting bored. Foraging toys are perhaps the most enriching of all. Toys encourage exercise and provide good wear and tear for the beak and nails. Toys are used for holding, hanging, exploring, and chewing. More so, they help your bird satisfy its instincts by allowing it to chew, shred, and tear.
Foot toys are especially popular with grey parrots and chew toys are popular with most species. Climbing and swinging toys – great for exercise, especially with young parrots. Acrylic and activity toys (i.e. music boxes, etc.) – can be a big hit, especially with grey parrots and cockatiels.

You can't go wrong with considering a feathered friend as a pet, especially Indian Collared Parrots. They make a great companion as long as you make sure to spend plenty of time working with them. They are very social and can be demanding - you are their primary companion and you need to be there to teach them. The diet of collared parrot companions is also an important component in their well-being and behavior. Many well-bred collared parrots like to sit with their owners and even be petted and scratched, but are generally much more passive. A bird that sings, whistles, or chatters continuously even when you're not speaking directly to it is usually a happy bird.

The Golden Conure! Also known as the Queen of Bavaria! 👑
They are native to South America. They are a stunning species with bright yellow plumage all over their body, with the exception of a bit of dark green on their wings. Golden Conures make exceptional companions. A hand-fed hatchling that receives love and attention will stay sweet all its life. They are large in size, measuring approximately 13 inches from head to tail. Like most conures, they have a loud voice and a playful personality. Ideally, the minimum cage size for this bird would be 36'' long, 24'' wide, and 66'' tall with ¾'' with information on proper housing, creating a safe environment, diet, behavior, hormones, and much more because this is a lifelong companion. Always choose hand-fed hatchlings that have been weaned on a diet high in variety, fruits, and vegetables. In addition, a sprout mix also includes high-variety seeds and naturally colored pellets.

The Green Cheek Conure!
These species are native to South America. GCCs come in a wide variety of color mutations. They are great family birds and are known for their loving, clownish and curious personalities. They are extremely playful and love to be out of the cage and with their human companions. Considered a "starter bird" they do not have an intense noise level and of great size. As with any parrot companion, training is required but we are here to help!! Ideally, the minimum cage size for this bird would be 25’’ long, 21’’ wide and 29’’ high with ½’’ wire with spacing. However you should be focused on education, nutrition, and conservation. Also, that parrot companionship shouldn’t be a lack. So prior to wanting to own a GCC, you should again be provided with information on proper housing, creating a safe environment, diet, behavior, hormones and much more because it’s a lifetime companion. Always go for hand fed baby that are weaned on to a high variety diet, fruits and veggies.

Beautiful male AND female Rose Breasted Cockatoo babies! These lovelies make wonderful companions. They are goofy, playful, affectionate and beautiful. They have a stunning pink and grey body, with a cute crest when they get excited. They are also a great size, they have a medium size body, bigger than a Cockatiel, smaller than an African Grey. Like all Cockatoos, Rosies require lots of time, training and attention. A cage filled with toys for him or her to destroy will keep you baby happy and healthy. Ideally, the minimum cage size for this bird would be 36’’ long, 24’’ wide and 66’’ high with ¾’’ wire spacing.
