Dogs' Own School is the only grooming school in an eight-state region that is owned and operated by an award-winning Nationally Certified Master Groomer, Jennifer Smith. Students receive hands-on experience in a real, working grooming salon, using the latest innovations in grooming equipment, products, and processes. Instruction also includes classroom time, covering topics such as the seven American Kennel Club dog breed groups, parasites, behavior, and safety. Additionally, Dogs' Own Grooming School is the only National Dog Groomers Association of America (NDGAA) testing site in the State of Colorado. Workshops and certifications are held on site twice per year.
