Lucian's first time feeding on a deer carcass with the rest of the boys. Resource guarding can be a major issues with wolfdogs, especially higher content toward other dogs and people if not worked with from puppy on. Hand feeding and good training plays a vital role in it. Now with our animals we are able to walk up to a carcass and remove them from it with no issue. What we really wanted to see was how Lucian's behavior would be with such a high value item between 3 other male adult dogs. In thr video, Lucian is being very submissive, tail tucked, watching everything of the other 2 are doing. Zoran is one to correct an overzealous puppy or dog member of our group, never to over do it. We are thrilled with how well the social dynamic is in this group to help grow and shape a puppy's behavior. Throw in our training methods and we have solid, well rounded animals at home and work.

### COMMUNICATION PART 2 ###
Here is an extended clip of our pack demonstrating proper communication with dogs. Lucian our 7month old High Content wolfdog puppy has been quite the annoying little brother that's been trying everyone's patience over the last view days. Veran is correcting Lucian, putting him in check to stop the antics of bugging our senior mutt Bear along with the rest of the crew. This is acceptable in our household and teaches proper communication for puppies to learn or dogs to learn when they have no boundaries and in other dogs faces incessantly. Veran is not hurting him by any means, simply mouthing over Lucian's muzzle with little to no pressure. A lot of times this is mistaken as aggression which this is not the case.

A lot of times people mistake dog communication as some type of aggression. Wolves and dogs express themselves vocally through growls, yips, snarls, chuffs, howling, and barks which can come off scary some times, but is really just talking similar to how people speak to one another. They also communicate by using body language and posturing. Here in this video is Zoran and Veran having a sibling disagreement that seems aggressive, but really just loud vocal communication.

Good morning everyone!!!!!!
We cannot stress enough how important it is to teach children how to respect and be around dogs as well as dogs respecting boundaries with children in and out of the home. There should be ZERO pulling, tugging, hitting, kicking, laying on top of or trying to ride a dog like a horse. That is unacceptable behavior and the fault lands on the parents for not correcting their children for doing such dangerous behavior. Teach your children young so they can develop the right type of behavior around dogs. Just like in this video, a 3 year old playing ball with a high drive Malinois. Both child and dog have respect and engage in good play. The child does not try and rip the ball out of the dog's mouth or get mad she didn't give it to him, and the Mal is careful not to knock over the child as well as bringing the ball to him to throw.
We as humans need to do better by our dogs. Best way to do that is get your dog in for training to prevent any unwanted behavior whether it be mild or severe. We can help with all of that and more. Have a great day!
