🐾 Hi I’m Marshall, a friendly and gentle giant Great Dane from Alabama. I was found as a stray and the person who found me said I came right up to her asking for help with a significant injury on back left leg. We brought Marshall in and gave him excellent medical care and put some much needed weight on him while he healed. ⁠

Hello, it's very nice to meet everyone. My name is Duck, I'm a 5 year old Weimaraner here at Big Dog Ranch Rescue! Unfortunately my owner could no longer give me the care I need, so that's how I came here to the Ranch. Do you know what gets my attentions? Food & treats! Yum! BUT, I am ALLERGIC to chicken, so please be careful with what you give me! I'm a pretty smart boy if I say so myself; I already know a few tricks! I could use a little more training just to perfect my skills on the leash but I am very much willing to learn anything you'd like to teach me! I really do hope you visit me at the Ranch! This sweet face belongs to Dusty! He is a 2 year old Weimaraner mix, who was found in Miami, FL. He absolutely LOVES tummy rubs, treats and a good roll in the grass. Check out his pics! When Dusty goes on a walk, he loves to explore new senses, so please be a little patient and let him take it all in. He is still working on his leash manners, especially when there's a great smell around. But that's nothing a little training can't help! Dusty is super intelligent and a great listener. Hi! I'm Konni and this is my mother Nikita, and we are a mother son Weimaraner duo! We were rescue in Puerto Rico and brought to Big Dog Ranch Rescue after our owner sadly passed away. My mom and I are very close and we are looking for a home where we can be adopted together. We are two lovable Weims and just want to be loved on. I have medium to high energy and just get so excited when I meet people. My mom on the other hand has low to medium energy! We are very clean in in our kennel. We love sleeping together as well. Mom and I enjoy going for leash walks but I can be strong so I would benefit from someone who could handle me. I love to learn from you in the future. Hi! My name is Armani and I am a 7 year old purebred Weimaraner! I was rescued in Sarasota, FL after my owner sadly passed away. Luckily for me though, I am now at Big Dog Ranch Rescue in Loxahatchee Groves, FL, and I am looking for my fur-ever home.

I am a typical Weim with a lot of energy and a lot of love to give! I must admit, I think that I am a lap dog and I love to snuggle! I will snuggle with you and make sure you get plenty of Weim smiles. I feel I would do best in a home with another large breed dog as I did have a chocolate lab brother in my previous home. I am also both kid and dog friendly, but I have a tendency to chase cats and other small animals. I do have a bit of that Weimaraner Separation Anxiety, but that just means we need to spend lots of time together. My perfect home would be one where my new owner works from home or is around most of the time! I am house trained and I also know a few commands.

8 year old Matilda is jumping for joy at the thought of finding her forever home!

Unfortunately, Matilda was adopted from Big Dog Ranch Rescue, but was soon returned due to her severe car anxiety. Her adopters wanted a dog that they could take places and Matilda's anxiety lends towards her being a homebody. But we know that the perfect family is out there! Matilda is dog AND cat friendly, and is very laid back for her breed! She is an incredibly sweet girl who would love a laid back home.

In honor of , I wanted to introduce myself! My name is Atreyu and I am a 10 year old Weimaraner who was found as a stray in Miami, FL.

I am a gentle giant who would love to find a home with an experienced Weimaraner owner to live out the rest of my days in a loving home of my own. oI am a very sweet boy who likes long naps and lying in the sunshine! Weimaraners are known to develop lipomas, which are masses on the skin. Because of my age, I have a few non-painful masses that the vet team at Big Dog Ranch Rescue has been keeping an eye on. I may have to take daily medication to manage my health, but I promise I will be the best boy ever during our time together!

Hi! My name is Guinness! I am 3 years old and I was surrendered to Big Dog Ranch Rescue by my owner who could no longer take care of me. I am very sweet!

I am very friendly with humans and other doggie friends! I am still working on my leash training, but we can practice together! The kennel staff at Big Dog Ranch Rescue says I am a very clean pup. Sometimes loud noises and fast movements make me nervous, but I am getting better each day. I am a super sweet boy just looking for a place to call home.

Say hello to Konni and Nakita! Konni and Nakita were brought to us from Puerto Rico after their owner passed away from cancer.

They are a bonded pair, and we believe Nakita to be Konni's mom! Nakita is 6 years old, while Konni is 2 years old. Both have medium energy and would benefit from long walks! Konni and Nakita are also clean in their kennel and would probably do best in a home with older kids due to their energy.

Everyone meet Kane and Kaia! They are a bonded pair that was brought to us after their owner sadly couldn't take care of them anymore.

Kane is 7 and Kaia is 8. These two love-bugs are low-energy, dog-friendly, kid-friendly, and house trained! So they'd make the perfect family companions!

Kane, however, is suspected to be fully blind, so he depends a lot on his best friend Kaia! We'd like nothing more than for these two to find a new forever home that they can go to together.

Calling all experienced Weimaraner owners!

8 year old Lily is ready to go to her forever home! Lily was surrendered after her owner sadly passed away. Lily is an incredibly sweet girl who loves attention and affection. She is also potty trained and knows a few commands! She adores playing with her dog friends in the play yard and would love to have another k9 companion in her new home, or the chance to play with other dogs at the park on a consistent basis!

Lily grew up around 2 cats and is friendly around her feline friends. She hasn't lived around children, so we don't know how she would do around young children. For this reason, we recommend a home with older kids or no kids.

I’m Calypso, a 2 year old Weimaraner! This Christmas, I want a a home of my own full of lots of adventures, a big yard, and maybe even another dog sibling! Will you make my Christmas wish come true?

I was surrendered to the Big Dog Ranch Rescue by my owner who could no longer take care of me. I am a super sweet and friendly girl with LOTS of energy! I love to play with other dogs and I think I would make an excellent family pet. My previous owner says that I love children and going on car rides, and I absolutely love splashing in the water here at the ranch! I was recently diagnosed with epilepsy, but the wonderful medical staff here at BDRR is making sure that I get the treatment I need!

🐶This sweet girl is a 100lb, 10 year old kinda-weim who was surrendered to BDRR because he owner is moving out of the country and couldn't take her with him. This girl is the TOTAL package! She is dog friendly, loves all humans, kids included, is house-broken and knows a few basic commands. Her previous owner named her kisses becuase she is extremely affectionate and LOVES to give kisses! She has a high prey drive, so she wouldn't do well in a home with a cat or small animals - but her gentle spirit and calm demeanor would make her a great addition in any home!

🐶Lola Rainbow adores being pet and is the kind of girl who will lean in close to get all of the affection she can. Because she likes to be the center of attention, Lola needs to go to a home where she is the only dog. Because of her impressive sense of site and smell, Lola often mistakes small dogs to be pesky animals like squirrels or birds that she needs to catch, so it is highly recommended that Lola is not brought around small dogs, cats, or small animals. For this reason, she would be great in a home with older owners or retirees who plan on playing with Lola at home rather than taking her to the dog park or the beach.

Let’s kick off this with Chubb, the 3 year old Weimaraner mix!

🐶Before arriving to Big Dog Ranch, Chubb was living in a horrible hoarding case in Texas. Chubb and his friends had not been socialized with humans, but he has been hard at work learning what it’s like to have a normal doggy life and he has made great progress! Because of his upbringing, Chubb is a little shy and would do best in a quiet, adult-only home where he can relax. Once he feels comfortable and safe, he is sure to shower you in love and face kisses!

🐶Zaya is a very active and energetic girl who is looking for an experienced Weim owner with a big yard for her to run and play! She loves meeting new people, but isn't a big fan of children, so she would be best in a home with only adults or older children who can respect her personal space. Because of her high energy, we think she would be a great addition to a busy family as she loves to try new things and meet new people. She's still young, so she could benefit from further training. Hi there, I'm Zaya!

I am a 1 year old, 46lb girl who was rescued from Puerto Rico by Big Dog Ranch Rescue! I like to play with other dogs, but sometimes can be selective. This just means that I need a proper introduction with other dogs so I can get to know them and determine if we'd be good pals. I think I would do best in an adult-only home or a home with older children who can respect my personal space. I'm not sure how I'd be with cats, so a gradual and supervised visit is necessary if you have a feline friend at home.

If I had it my way, I'd live in a home with a big fenced in yard where I could play to my heart's content! After a bit of obedience training, I think I would be a great companion on adventures and outdoor outings. I haven't quite mastered potty training, but we can work on that together!
