🐔 Fresh jumbo chickens + freezer sale this week!

We just processed our biggest batch of pasture-raised, soy-free Cornish Cross chickens of the season — and these birds are huge (4 lb and up).
You can order them fresh for Saturday pickup or frozen for later.

We’re also running a 20% off freezer sale on our smaller frozen chickens to make room for the new harvest.

🥚 We have plenty of eggs this week, and don’t forget to place your raw dairy preorders if you need milk, cream, or yogurt.

And because no year on the farm is complete without a little chaos and charm… meet Noni.
A formerly feral gray kitten who has somehow become one of the friendliest, funniest farm cats to ever exist. Best friends with all people and animals — especially the pigs — and particularly fond of using the horses’ legs as scratching posts (a true testament to their good natures).
He’s already a big presence around here.

Another highlight of 2025 was receiving three different grants that allowed us to invest in the long-term future of the land.
With that support, we planted over 50 fruit trees along with 60 native trees that will benefit the farm ecosystem for years to come.
Watching those trees go into the ground felt like planting hope — not just for next season, but for the future of this farm.

2025 was also a big year for our pastured Kune Kune pork program.
We processed pigs and sent some truly delicious pork out into the world — a milestone that represents years of planning and care. We also found a new processor who aligns with our animal welfare standards.
We welcomed Nila Wafer to the farm, along with her cookie-themed piglets, who are already shaping the future of our pork program in the best way. An *enormous* thank you to Hopewell Heritage Farm for trusting us with Nila and The Cookies and your generous spirit of mentorship.

One of the biggest milestones of 2025 was our first full year raising meat chickens for customers here at the farm.
It was a learning curve, a lot of work, and ultimately a huge success — made possible by customers who showed up and kept ordering this delicious chicken.
I’m really proud of how that part of the farm grew, and grateful for the support that makes it possible to keep going in 2026.

Meet Nila Wafer 🐷🩷

Our newest Kune Kune girl is officially on farm and settling in like she owns the place (because… she kinda does). Nila will be the matriarch of our pastured pork program here at Charmed Life Farm — pasture grazed, loved on daily, and generally spoiled rotten.

Fall Veggie Garden Prep! It all boils down to building healthy soil. I've been adding mulch, manure, plant matter, and more to this space for about 6 years now.
This past weekend, I added organic matter in the form of compost, organic fertilizers, and a layer of mulch to each of my raised garden beds. Once I'm ready to plant (hoping for this weekend), I'll pull the mulch back and make space for the seeds to go in!

Charmed Life Farm Life

Charmed Life Farm is a small farm located in Loxahatchee, Florida. The main focus of the farm is to provide the animal and human inhabitants with the highest quality of life while living a natural lifestyle. Horses, chickens, and ducks are fed an organic, soy free feed and pastured on grass every day. Animals are given ample time outside while also provided with shelter to get out of the intense heat and heavy rains. The property is never treated with chemical pesticides, fertilizers, or herbicides. Animal manure is composted and then used in the garden to grow nutritious fruits and vegetables. Bees are kept to pollinate the garden and surrounding neighborhood.
