1/2 dozen Fertile Sebastopol Hatching Eggs Available for pick up from the farm in Loxahatchee!

Pricing info and order on our website. We may or may not get more eggs as geese only lay 8-16 eggs per season. Please be sure you research hatching goose eggs and are confident that you do it - they are not as easy to hatch as chicken eggs.

Price reflects all of these factors and there are no refunds if you do not have a successful hatch. I have successfully hatched eggs from my flock the last 2 summers - last year we had 4 goslings hatch from 7 eggs and the year before we had 5/5 from and incubator and 2/3 from under a broody goose.

I took an evening farm walk with the pigs and noticed that the ice cream beans are coming along. This will be the first harvest from the enormous tree that shades the duck yard. We are not so patiently waiting to try our first home grown ice cream beans.

Thank you for giving us a behind the scenes tour of the flour mill and farm! Stella has exclusively been using Janie's Mill flour for her sourdough for the last year so when we scheduled a trip to Chicago, Stella knew she wanted to visit the best certified organic grain mill around.

We were able to see how flour is made from the field to the mill to bag to order fulfillment. 🌾🌾🌾

The sounds of the wheat blowing in the wind was super epic and will live in our memories forever. 🫶

Guess who?!

First dragon fruit flowers of the summer! We trimmed our plants back hard in the spring and it looks like they are coming back stronger than ever. These are one of the easiest fruit we grow here at the farm (bananas tie for first place) - they are not irrigated or fertilized or babied in any way. Every summer, in the beginning of mango season, these babies start putting out their showy flowers and the night time pollinators come by to do their job. In about 5/6 weeks, we'll be harvesting and eating so.much. dragonfruit. 🐉

WOW! knocked it out of the park last night! Huge thank you to this amazing local restaurant for creating a menu showcasing South Florida’s local farms and producers - including Charmed Life Farm’s duck eggs and fresh ricotta made with raw milk from Keely Farms.

Its been a goal of mine since the start of the farm 8 years ago to connect with chefs who will truly honor the food we produce. A lot of time, love, and energy goes into taking care of these animals and the team at Driftwood has clearly put in the same effort to create their dishes. To have our duck eggs on the same menu as , , and produce and mushrooms feels like a dream. These are farmers whose practices I deeply admire and respect. I learned about a few “new to me” producers and am excited to support their businesses moving forward - and

Whether your farm is a patio with a basil plant, 17 chickens in your backyard, or a full on working homestead, you have chosen a lifestyle for your family that is a little bit different than the "norm" because you know that there is magic in it. Magic in the hard work, the early mornings, the dirt, the sweat, the tears, the sprouting seeds, the first speckled egg, the oddly shaped loaf of sourdough, the homemade cheese, the butterflies hatching in a tank on the kitchen table. All of these moments are memories your children will cherish forever and it is truly a blessing that you exist in this world to raise these tiny humans living a charmed life.

Huge THANK YOU to Palm Beach County 4-H and ALL of the teachers and students for taking such good care of our fertile eggs/chicks and ducklings this year! We will have a final count soon on how many students in Palm Beach County were able
to learn about embryology with our eggs.

We are now offering mixed breed ducklings (Pekins, crested Pekins, Cayugas, Magpies, and Khaki Campbells) and 1 week old Easter/Olive Egger chicks for purchase. All babies are STRAIGHT RUN (not sexed). Your purchase helps to ensure that we are able to donate eggs for this project in the future.

The garden got away from me this season, but due to the abnormally wet and warm winter, the tomatoes we planted in the fall produced an epic harvest with absolutely no effort on my part. I finally went over there to clean up a bit and discovered so many fruits. Many were past their prime and went to the pigs to be turned into bacon. This is also our best year yet for strawberries - those don’t even make it out of the garden as Stella eats them immediately after harvesting along with the mulberries.

Looks like we are getting a few avocados this year! With the extremely wet and warm winter we had, the 8 avocado trees on the farm are all flowering and growing like crazy. One of the smaller trees that was planted only two years ago as a 3 gallon baby tree has more than doubled in size in the last 2 months.

This Super Hass pictured is one of our older trees, having been in the ground for about 5 years, and looks to be set on FINALLY giving us a major harvest this year! Fingers crossed that the fruit holds through the spring and summer! 🤞🏽🤞🏽🤞🏽🤞🏽🥑🥑🥑🥑
