Kissy, lovey, happy, sugar high, ready to PLAY with other dogs or humans…

Fitz isn’t picky about much in life, as long as it happens NOT in a kennel at LAS. He was adopted as a puppy, left abandoned in a field, then made his way back to the starting point at LAS. Now he’s spent the past 9 months waiting for someone to take him on forever dates.

He plays in the Rough and Rowdy group, which really just means he likes to roll in the dirt with some buddies. If you have another dog that would be a good play match, ask LAS to do an intro and see if they can be best friends!

Mudpue is THE longest stay at LAS right now, having arrived as a puppy in May 2022. She’s about a year old…

Which means she has spent almost literally her entire life in a shelter. She grew up in the shelter, with her only breaks coming as day dates.

Mudpie got to go out today for ice cream and some sunshine. Medium energy, plays in the rough and rowdy group, and calms down for lovins. She does need someone who understands that she needs some basic obedience training and may take some time to adjust to living in a home, not a concrete kennel.

Gentle, sweet, meek, gentle…gentle again… if you haven’t caught on, this boy Midnight is as easy as they come.

He’s been stuck at LAS since MARCH. You can imagine why… black pittie that lets himself blend into the background. He’s hard to notice. But Midnight is a FANTASTIC dog if someone will just give him a chance to prove himself. He plays in the Gentle and Dainty (there’s that G word again), and really prefers his playmates to have the same low energy level as he does. He prefers female dogs and humans, but he does ok with males too. He knows how to ride in a car and take food easily.

He’s a lover and wants nothing more than snuggles and kisses. Midnight would LOVE to be in a home for the holidays, even if just for a few days as a break from the shelter. Shoot, ask about some foster options beyond just a few days 😉.

Adopted

Dino!

This sweet girl has been hanging out at the shelter, collecting Favorite Dog titles from the staff, just waiting for her family to come. She's a low energy and plays in the Gentle and Dainty group. Dino is a snuggler and a lover and a gentle treat taker. Poor girl is getting pretty defeated living life in the shelter with nobody to return all of the love she's got to share.

If Dino may be a good fit for you for forever, go talk to LAS so she can finally have her own person to be with forever. If you can foster, talk to LAS about your options. She's a good gateway dog into the world of fostering

Heyo, I’m Pedro!

Lubbock Animal Services is my home for right now, and it’s ok I guess. I get to play with some other doggies in the Gentle and Dainty group, and they feed me. It’s much better than not eating, I guess?

I got to go out for the day, and we found out that I really prefer women to men. I’m passive and sweet… it will take me a bit to understand that you’ll love me even when I am my full self. If any ladies need a man that loves snuggling and calm nights on the couch, I’m your boy!
