Oh wow--what a day. Shannon was relinquished by a gentleman from the Lynn County area. He had had her for 3 weeks and determined she wasn't a bit interested in chasing game and was hopeful that our group could find a home for her. He met me at Live Oak Clinic on 98th Street. Okay! This morning Shannon got a clean bill of health from Dr. Cunningham at Live Oak Animal Hospital. Hooray! She is a very observant dog and in the first pic where she was most likely enjoying her very first car-ride--she was acting concerned as I was zooming along and having happy thoughts over how sweet and fun she is--so friendly and outgoing. Wow! Finally, she said to me--"Linda, there's a black and white car with flashing lights behind us--maybe you should pull-over." Yikes! Going 55 in a 45. Double yikes! But, good news--Shannon was so charming, I got off with a warning ticket. Hooray!! Stay tuned as we determine more about Shannon and search for the perfect home for her. :)
