Yay for this baby girl! 🎉🎉🎉Marguerite has mastered the kennel, and having no potty mess throughout the night. She will now get to cuddle with Marceau, Clotilde, Adelaide and Bruce every night for the rest of her life.

So proud of this baby girl! She’s continuing to gain weight. She is now on a streak with not having a mess in her pen when I wake up. Marguerite is that much closer to sleeping like all the rest of the pack!

This beautiful baby girl is officially gaining weight. When we received her last Monday, she weighed 19.4 lbs, today she weighs 20.9 lbs! She is not only looking healthier by the day, she is opening up with her pack. Today she also got a proper name tag. Marguerite is on the mend!

HAPPY FRIDAY! Marguerite is continuing to open up and play with her siblings and mommy Clotilde. She’s also gaining more weight by the day.

So proud of this baby girl! She went the whole night without any potty mess in her kennel. This is a HUGE step forward for Marguerite. She is beginning to adjust to her surroundings again. We will begin to let her sleep outside of her kennel soon. She is also beginning to open up with her big brother and sister.

Who all remembers Ivy’s original name and why I chose it…?

She was named in honor of Daisy, as it is French for Daisy.
Since we accepted this baby girl back into our pack, we will begin anew!

There have been rumors that we are rehoming one of Clotilde’s perfect puppies. That rumor is partially true…. She has come home and will be part of our pack again. She is doing well, we are just making a few adjustments to get her up to Jean Pierre L’Acadien Fenchies’ standard.

Hot weather can be dangerous for every brachycephalic breed. They are particularly sensitive to high temperatures. Even at temperatures as low as 60°F, your Frenchies can start experiencing discomfort. Anything above 80°F becomes risky for them.

Their short noses and inefficient cooling mechanisms make it challenging to regulate their body temperature effectively. If any of our brachy babies start to experience heat exhaustion, symptoms may include excessive panting, weakness, and drooling. In severe cases, heatstroke can cause seizures, organ failure, and even death.

Please be careful this summer as the temps are rising.

One year ago today at 9:00 am Clotilde’s first babies were born, and so began Jean Pierre’s L’Acadien Frenchies. Clotilde had seven Perfect Puppies that we fell head over heels in love with. We were able to bring happiness and love of French Bulldogs to five families who fell for these frenchies just as much as us. Happy Birthday to Stella, Lisette, Luna, Adelaide, Bruce, Whiskey and Gray! Please help us celebrate these Perfect Puppies by posting their Birthday celebration pictures in the comments.
