On this day 23 years ago thousands of lives were changed forever. Tens of thousands of rescue workers flooded the scenes & worked tirelessly in the chaos & aftermath of the attacks. Did you know that over 300 of those rescuers were dogs? Side by side they shifted through rubble searching for survivors, cleaning up debris, & leaning on each other for support. There simply are no words to describe what they saw & went through. We will never forget the impact they had & how they helped our Nation in its time of need.

‼️ATTENTION RUFF HOUSIN' PACK‼️

It's always a 🥺sad day🥺 when we get word that one of our 🐾Ruff Housin' Pups🐾 has crossed the 🌈rainbow bridge.🌈

It is with heavy hearts that we announce that our lovely ❤️Lady Ivey❤️ passed away at home this afternoon after 1️⃣7️⃣ long & wonderful years.

🙏We ask for everyone to please keep her mom, dad, & fur-brother Rufus in their thoughts & prayers.🙏❤️ She was the sweetest old girl that touched the hearts of everyone she met. She will be deeply missed.❤️

✨️In honor of Lady's life & memory, we will be hanging a picture of her in the office so she can continue to watch over & welcome all of her Ruff Housin' friends.✨️

We hope that the Robeson County Animal Shelter had a great time at the tonight! We appreciate the staff that works tirelessly to make sure these animals are taken care of.
Effective today, we will no longer do a raffle for a $200 basket but if you want to donate, we will make sure the shelter gets it! These dogs still need your help! Sheriff Wilkins
