It’s important to introduce dogs to grooming early on so their coats are maintained and they know what to expect for the rest of their lives
If dogs aren’t groomed until 1+ years they are often matted and don’t know how to behave for brushing, standing on the table etc. 4+ months is what I recommend, even just for a bath, trim around the eyes, feet, sani area and nail trim for the first few times is all they need at first

Snow is a long time client of mine, I’ve been grooming her for most of my career (6 years I believe) her mom and dad first started bringing her to me when I groomed from my house in Gretna and has followed me all the way to Lynchburg and now Madison heights.
