This doe just turned 6 months and we hope to show her as an intermediate in a couple of weeks. She's a broken opal from the same Parsley x Bart litter as Ted. Her name is Betty!

This is a 6 month old opal from The Bun Bun Bungalow . His given name is Teller, but our kids have nicknamed him Bruce. 😄 He is the kind of bunny we strive to keep in our barn; sweet, curious and outgoing!

Parsley is another Running Bear Rabbitry bun. She's a little spicy, tolerates pets and being handled, but prefers her privacy. However, she has given us offspring with great temperament!
This is Ted's mom.
Parsley is a broken opal. She's a little undersized, but is very proportionate and is a great mom, so she gets to stay here. 😊

This guy is so wiggly I can never get good pics...
He has been given the name Ted. 😊 He's a 6 month old broken sable chin out of Running Bear's Parsley and Dandelion Lane's Bart, and is currently a stout 12 lbs! He has a very sweet temperament, always greets us at his door and insists on head rubs. We are very excited to keep him here and see the beautiful babies we'll get out of him in the future!

This is Bonnie, our blue chin doe, who came to us from Running Bear Rabbitry . She is sweet and chill like a French Lop should be! She is 10.5 months and currently weighs in at 12 lbs.

It's been a little quiet over here at Dandelion Lane's page. Now that we're out of the busyness of summer, and Fall sports for the kids, we'll try to post some updates. Let's start with Beverly, our broken blue doe that we kept, out of Bianca and Bernard. She's currently 8.5 months old and 12.5 lbs! And most importantly, she is so sweet!! Matt is very excited to get her on the show table in December. Who else is going to the show in Monroe on Dec 2nd?

Well this has been a very busy summer! For those of you following our IG page (), you may know that we are slimming down our herd of Holland Lops. We will still keep some, but will have less for our breeding program. This has been very difficult, but with our dahlia farm growing () and taking more of our time, we've had to make the tough decision to manage our time by making some sacrifices. Matt will still be breeding and showing our French Lops, and our kids will continue with their small herd of Netherland Dwarfs.
With four kids in elementary, middle school, and high school, we are making sure they are our priority. Which makes for, as previously mentioned, a busy summer!
We are working on getting glamour shots of our French Lop litter from Running Bear's Parsley (Broken Opal) x Dandelion Lane's Bart (Frosty). We will hopefully get those to you who are on our waiting list first (IYKYK), and then posting them to this page.
We hope you all are enjoying your summer like we are!!!

The kids have two more adorable babies from their Netherland projects to offer up.
These two opal Netherland Dwarfs are not nearly as mischievous as the cartoon characters!! In fact, they are very sweet!

Our daughters have been patiently working towards breeding for chocolate Netherland Dwarfs, and the time has come! 2 chocolates and a chocolate otter in the nest box!! 9 days old. 😍 The kids (and the adults) are very excited about this batch!

It's been about 6 months since the last French Lop litter. Bianca is on day 29 and has pulled fur! It's 27 degrees outside tonight, and about 40 in the barn, so we put a heating pad under the nest box. 🤞

We are traveling between Lynden, WA and Stanwood, WA on Friday 1/20/23 (tomorrow), and between Lynden and Corvallis, OR on Sunday 1/22/23. We can take some floppy eared passengers with us with no cost for transport! We also may have holes available for our breeder friends in exchange for gas money, but our schedule will be very tight due to the long day of travel. Nothing off route.
ALSO, we're meeting Fancy Paws Transport who is making a run over to the midwest and back. See photos for their route! PM for more details!

This blue French Lop buck can travel to his next happy home on the posted route between the Canadian border and Corvallis, OR on Jan. 22nd. He is out of Golden Arrow's Yams ( Bianca) x Cutie Patootie's Bernard. He is sweet, loves head rubs, and is using a litter box. Currently 5 months old and 8.8 lbs. Fully pedigreed. PM for more info!

We've been working hard here at Dandelion Lane! Temperatures have been below freezing for days now, with steady frigid winds from the Northeast. All of our bunnies have been moved into the barn and water bowls are being kept from freezing. Other than that, the bunnies are loving the cold! If the wind would stop, they could go out and play in the snow for a little bit! Stay warm local friends!
